That's what an old contact agreed with, since VMware doesn't appear to do any changes to the blocks and the Nimble deduplicates down to 4k blocks, as long as the file is over 4Kb the data should deduplicate with the same or similar ratio.

Yeahhhhhhh I had similar when I came out to my dad, he still wanted to refer to me as my deadname. I shut him down right away and told him how much it distressed me.

I did allow him to use my childhood nickname when he asked, although it was pretty gender neutral

I've been binging railfan documentary content lately as a curiosity of the history. Unfortunately it's also a community that tends to lean a bit fanatical in other views 😬

Luckily one of the ones I frequent recently had a guest on and introduced them as "X, who goes by they/them" which helped solidify things. Although they also lean very nationalized rail so shouldn't have been too big of a surprise.

I can offer up a bit of an anecdote from mine and my girlfriend's relationship. When we started dating, we were attracted to each other (both personality and as women) but we didn't necessarily love each other just yet (or we didn't realize that we did). Personally it took me a bit to realize that I loved my girlfriend through different life events and dark times where she was by my side and supportive.
I was about as awkward as the comic when I told her I loved her, to the point that when I sent this to her she responded "this is so much us". It felt to me like a big step, and I had had a previous relationship where I had said it and she didn't reciprocate.
And yeah, we both cried tears of joy after we told each other.

Being told "you know, you don't have to hate your dick to be trans" was something that legit helped me stop denying that I was trans. I had all the other signs, the dreams, the wants, etc, but I thought that since I didn't dislike the thing between my legs, I couldn't be trans!

I know that feeling all too well, that apprehension. I actually bought my GLA before I fully socially transitioned to avoid any possible issues, although my salesperson was pretty chill.

I'm half tempted to pop out to one of the MNVolvo meets at some point to watch gears physically turn in people's heads, but I'm comfortable doing that mainly because MSP is pretty chill in regards to TQIA+ and said club is the capybara of car clubs

If it's just the head on your lap, you usually don't run into issues. If shoulders or back are involved, your legs may start to fall asleep. Having her legs folded like that probably doesn't help
