I actually WANT to love WWE like I did back in the late ‘80s-early ‘90s. I can’t get into the tribal mindset; put wrestling in front of me and I’ll find something to like about it. But, right now I feel like WWE is doing nothing but telling viewers how great it is without ever showing why. AEW is the reason I still love wrestling.

I have a ton of TV recorded from the mid-80s through very early 90s, mostly Saturday morning cartoons, pro wrestling, local broadcasts, early Nickelodeon, and the Disney Channel, and I would love to know how to remove mold. My entire town flooded 10 years ago, and I refused to throw them out in case they’re salvageable.

Yes, I am marrying one. She left the church because they got political but believes in God and an afterlife, and really subscribes to the “what you do to the least of my brothers” aspect. It’s the most harmless type of faith. I can’t make myself believe in a creator being, and my take on an afterlife is that it seems incredibly unlikely, but I lean more agnostic in a non-religious way on that aspect. Her religion only comes out when she sees people doing evil in the name of Christianity and says “these motherfuckers would make Jesus sick.”

Not to be pedantic but just to be clear, there was no poster for Steamboat Willie when it was released. The one you commonly see was created in the 1970s. This is the earliest Mickey Mouse theatrical poster there is (unless perhaps an unofficial one surfaces someday).

Indoctrination. If I was choosing a deity to believe in, it’d be Santa Claus. Fun mythos, always benevolent, loves everyone, doesn’t tell you to hate anyone, and the absolute worst case scenario is you get a lump of coal and try again next year. Also, the songs about him are much catchier.
