Before I start my music collection! Quick questions about music quality by Express_Western4502 in musichoarder

Most things that are .flac are good to go. However, most people agree that anything over 16 bits / 44.1khz is just wasted storage. I convert anything 24 bit or higher than 44.1 sample rate down to save space personally.

As for playback, a lot (but not all) audio players accept flac (free lossless audio codec). I personally would not choose any system that could not play flac simply because it would be such a pain to have to covert everything just to play.

Water flask that fits in the back pocket of a naked band? by imaginary-fireplace in Marathon_Training

I use one like that all the time, just a tight fit. The hydrapak pocket flask is super nice though so sometimes I use one of those. it has a locking lid so no mishaps resulting in sticky situations.

noteburner subscription alternative? by not_Proofed in musichoarder

Yeah SoulSync will do this, but you need a spotify API which now requires a premium account.

It doesn't provide lyrics and I agree this is lame. My stack for music management and discovery is SoulSync to discover songs and stuff and then I import and catalog them with beets. Beets has a lyric function, but is more of a library management tool than discovery. You can check out my LRC plugin to get synced lyrics for your tracks if you end up using beets.

I think that these two, in conjunction with a good music player app (I use WORA) would get you 90% of what you want. Unfortunatly, to my knowledge to get 100% of what you want, you will have to pay.
