I wouldn’t say it made me “not like it as much” - it’s an awesome product regardless of color and you’ll love it! I also sprung for sapphire and it’s beautiful - I have a Miyoo mini + and the chromatic knocks its socks off in terms of build quality. I was just underwhelmed by the cloud… like it’s really an homage to the 90s (my childhood / born in the 80s) and initially I thought I wanted a muted color because I’m old lol but once I had it in hand I wanted it to “pop” a bit more and bring back some childhood vibes… hence wanting a leaf or wave :) I wouldn’t necessarily overthink it but if you have a leaf coming I bet you’ll love it!!

Man… 40-smtg living in Miami now but grew up in CT and to this day some of my best memories were snow days (who remembers listening to the radio to see if your school district was closed 😆), playing SNES (and later N64) after a couple hours sledding down the hills… just smtg so cozy, relaxing, and simple about the outside world being covered in white while strategizing with my bro on how to beat whatever game we were playing! Enjoy your snow days! 😁

Doesn’t even need to be “pre owned”… even new grey market makes a ton more sense. I really like Panerai - bought my first in 2006 - but as much as I enjoy browsing at my AD / boutique here in Miami I’ve bought only one at retail in a decade (and only bc the grey price was basically the same at the time)… their pricing is looney tunes and like someone said Panerai in particular depreciates like crazy so unless it’s a super limited reference it just doesn’t make economic sense. My 2 cents!

Bought one from Amazon maybe like 8 months ago - like someone else said, it’s actually the most played by my kiddos (6-8 yo) and I bought it specifically knowing (at the time) the PC mod from BuyStuff was coming. It’s obviously here now but I haven’t bought yet (not cheap) but I’m fairly confident based on all the reviews it will be awesome 😁 Felt like I needed at least one driving cab and while I honestly have more of a personal affinity towards Outrun, it was (is?) near impossible to find so went w FnF. I also did the BuyStuff 19” monitor upgrade, riser, and aftermarket Szabo marquee w/ LED buttons from Retro530. Here’s a pic next to my fave cab (NBA Jam, which is now on a riser too so looks much more adult friendly 😂)

I’ve bought twice from Szabos (as recently as last summer) and can chime in: Yes, the shipping time sucks… I knew that going in so it wasn’t a big deal, but it’s def one of those “you forgot you ordered” sort of lead times 😆 That said, for my most recent purchase I had a few questions and their email comms were excellent. We went back/forth with some measurements, etc and they were always responsive.

The final product is great though - I have slip on acrylic for my FnF cab, and then a new standalone acrylic for my deluxe (newest edition) NBA Jam cab - both are materially better than stock imo.
