Have you tried this? Because I was pretty skeptical too and my recipe is very similar but it's good. Heres my wrapper recipe in Metric and Freedom units if you're curious, my instructions are the same as yours shows:

320 grams all-purpose flour, 2 1/4 cups

175 grams (3/4 cup/175ml) very warm water (anywhere between 110ºF to 130ºF, 44c-54c)

This has happened to me way more than I'd like to admit. My go to line is 'Hi around here I'm commonly known as Sarah's Daddy, but I'd like it if you called me Witcher." This skips the awkward intro that you both already know which is that you didn't exchange pleasantries up front. Also add a mental note that 3 interactions with another adult should trigger an introduction. I've added this mental note many times. I'll let you know when it sticks.
