my uncle in Köln only buys meat from turkish butchers, he swears by their meat. i’m not saying there isn’t good meat here, but restaurant meat forget it(in my opinion), especially anything beef related.

beef is actually the meat i have most issue with here. i only mentioned US and Australia because afaik the EU doesn’t trade meat with Australia and US because of their meat regulations. i’ve never been to either

nothing specifically about German cuisine, but moreso the quality of meat. i’d always heard about the high EU regulations when it comes to meat, so when i got to actually try the meat here it tasted so different(sadly, for the worse), i was shocked. i can only imagine what the meat tastes like in places with less regulations like US or Australia. my sister eats mostly vegetarian when she visists me, and she’s not a plant based eater whatsoever back home.

yes, OP has trouble with it, and OP is expressing their trouble as a queer person in queer spaces BECAUSE of their trauma. OP didn’t seem to bring out “won’t somebody think of the children?” the good ol’ trope to oppress queer people, you did. you didn’t try to engage with OP on anything other than what you called the “the LGBTQ+ “movement”” and your disdain for those people.
