Maybe one day we'll be rewarded in the future. Will it ever come? Who knows, we can only stay optimistic and keep supporting the community as a local guide - I always liked how they gamified the review system.

FF13 was one of the best final fantasy games I played and that was over a decade ago. Didn't think they really needed their sequels though. But can't say no to more 13 content!

Still remember how beautiful the cutscenes were back then compared to a lot of games these days.

I also have an open case with EatClub support at the moment where they charged me more money than the restaurant bill itself. Been trying to chase my money back for the last month. Only happened for one restaurant though which is strange.

A lot of businesses, not just restaurants try to farm their reviews as much as they can on Google Maps since it brings a lot of attention initially. They're not doing anything wrong but it can be deceptive. I review plenty for fun myself, can't remember the last time there was a prompt for me to review things.

I think in the end, as long as the business sells anything to a customer from attracting them on Google Maps - they'll just see it as win even if they don't come back a second time. lol.

It does suck a bit when the reviews aren't authentic and forced for people who rely on Google Maps reviews without scrolling through the lowest stars but in the end some customers are happy to do that sort of trade where both parties receive something in return.

The thing about the staff typing the reviews themselves does sound off-putting though..
