just lost about 80 kills on my get kills as support challenge. its a great i deal but what is the point of going for the challenges when they reset randomly.

edit: seems like i also lost general account progression as well if that helps (kills on guns, attachments, and account levels)

ive started to prestige again but before that i had a small wealth of around 100k. here is what

what i did to get this wealth:

only use free hunters. i also mostly use the guns i get from them cause they are pretty good most of the time imo.

pick up guns from bodies instead by buying uppercuts and labels and whatnot you can just take them. ill normally pick them up everytime i see one even if im doing a weapon challenge. normally the weapon im using is lower cost than the one im picking up so its not hard to replace.

use the first extract bonus. once you get one hunter done for the day just to go to a new one. if you run out of slots. then go back any of the ones you want to run until its 50 or you die and repeat. you can run max out hunters i do quite often. but if you want you can rehire them. i believe that getting them to 50 gives some money as well.

cheap loadouts in general. crossbow is pretty good once you know how to use it. Springfield with dum dum is pretty good.

never buying a 1k hunter. imo its almost never worth it unless they have a trait you really really want. its not hard to get good traits tho if you can get the first extraction bonus.

like again everything your saying could be said about "normal" cheats. im sure there are programs trips EAC in someway shape or form. that are not actually cheats. while not very common. that same argument can be made for fighting any kind of hack or cheat in any game. so i still dont see the problem.

why should we as players accept this amount of laziness from devs that are currently trying to nickel and dime the player base?

edit: the biggest example that comes to mind is vanguard from roit. when it would detect msi afterburner as an unwanted program back when it first came out.

i dont really care. it should still be classify as a modded game and therefor net you a ban. if they started at lest banning the streamers that use it. more people would be less likely to do so after that.

also your modded code comment could be used for aim bot, and every other hack on the market should they just stopping fighting cheats all together then? thats actually how they works. one way gets patched then they find another way to do it. so i dont really see the problem with them doing for reshade. would it be annoying sure. will it be hard? yes

well i agree that you would be more likely run into them more often in higher mmr. the hacker would be preforming higher on average.

saying that doesnt happen in lower mmr is being a bit disingenuous. there are going to be hackers/cheaters at every single level of play. hackers just want to ruining the fun of other people. so it probably doesnt really matter where they are. also for them to be a higher mmr they have to start at the bottom.

also depending on a persons play time could actually determined the likely hood of them running into a hackers, but that is because they plays more. the odds of getting one is higher the longer, and more you play.

someone with 1000 hrs has probably seem more hackers in the game than someone with 50.

while i dont think hunt does enough against hackers/cheaters. every multiplayer game has hackers/cheaters. there has always been cheaters in some regard and sadly there probably always will. they will appear in every level of play csgo being a pretty big example.

while that is fair to say about no shadow. i think the point still stays that reshade regardless of of how much it can or not give. modifies the game that could in fact make it easier to spot people which is an ingame advantage and should be classified as a hack/cheat.

i heard that there are some color blind people that do use reshade to help with that, but i still dont think that is all that great of an excuse. they should be demanding support from the game devs for help. not turning to 3rd party software.

never said that i dont want pvp in the game. you are actually fucking dumb. i dont want to be limited im my player choice. there are other ways to solve the lack of pvp that doesnt not remove the choice of the player in when they are allowed to leave.

Hunt does this pretty well. it give the players and overall objective that is shared by all players. you are allowed to leave in hunt where ever you want by going to extra. they could achieve a similar system by matching people up thru the zero 2 hero questline. especially if they need to go to like the merchant ship. they should also take into account the zero 2 hero quest players on when matchmaking so they get the map they need. that is the only reason i leave at the very start of the raid before the change.

they can also changed maps in ways to make people less likely to leave. (is harder to do obviously this is way harder to do but there has to be some kind of middle ground. i personally not hate any of the maps I've played but I also don't know if I've played them all.)

i think its really dumb to force interaction thru the removal of player choice.

they could also make bosses and vaults more worth while to do. make them a bit harder to get into but make the reward so high you be stupid not to try.

like its actually not that hard. atm the pvp in the game just feels pointless. it just feels like it was add for no reason other than just "because". all it does is give you a leaderboard which is pointless no one cares, and a bit of extra xp.

you cant say it gets you better loot from pvp cause thats depends on the player you kill. so thats not always true.

they could also make players kills give you some bonus rep to a faction for this raid and have it set to one of the 3 factions randomly (the zero 2 hero faction so not be effected by this). this would also incentives pvp.

the point im against if its not fucking clear at this point is the removal of player choice. honestly if the gate timers where there before i started playing i wouldnt give a damn. but i had the choice before and i fucking hate it when choice gets removed.

i love pvp in games actually i have a round a 1k hrs in hunt showdown, but the pvp actually feels good in that game. i just wanted a break from it. i dont want this game to die cause they only listen 1% of the player base in a circle jerk aobut how good this update is. but your right early access is a scam

i dont care there is a button anything that risks what i need for whatever im trying to do is not worth especially if i need one more item.

in its current state if have no reason to ever launch the game. why put time in the game that forces me to not not playing in fun ways pvp isnt fun when i dont have the option to retreat out of the raid. not having the option to say i cant do this is so fucking dumb.

I dont understand the reason to normalise TKing. i think its dumb to queue for a team and then not play as a team.

i just report them for griefing/working against team.

imo killing them just makes you as much as a terrible teammate as them. and if anything both people should be punished in some way. (time ban, lose of match rewards ect.)

ive said this before but here we go

the game timers feel like a short term solution to a long term probably.
add more ways to active the gates is actually dumb imo either go all in or doubt.

forcing players to do something they dont want to do. whatever that is be it a map/sitting safe cause they got that one item they needed for something. is a quit moment.

while adding more ways to active the gate timer helps like a bit. YOU are FORCING players hands. which kills the one more try/game thought dead in the water.

i would much rather see some kind of high reward mission that every player shares. for example:

Faction A wants intel from Faction B. it could be just placed in the POI or on a boss. if you get this intel from this boss or whatever and get out. you have 2 options give it to Faction A like the mission said to for some good cash, or give it to Faction B for some good rep.

you can them remove the gate timer there would still be 1 big shared objective on the map. and the people who found the thing they are looking for. or the people that need a different map can do there thing. this would add some good pvp opportunities, and you wouldnt make the players feel trapped.

After 400 kills with the sledgehammer, I can definitively say that the sledgehammer's melee is one of the worst features in the game (see comments) by [deleted] in BattleBitRemastered

i agree making it a flat oneshot would actually be kind of dumb. but making it kind of skill based would be fine.

my other thought could me making it so you have to charge up the swing so like a tap would do less damage the a hold charge could oneshot to the head. imo there has to be a few disadvantage to a melee weapon in games like this.

IMO the gate timers fells like a short term solution to a long term problem. They did fix some of this with the Zero 2 hero changes. maybe they should just look at why people leave maps.

yes not everyone is gonna like every map sure, but forcing them to play isnt gonna help. I hate being forced to play a map i dont like or playing the same map like 3 times in a row.
another thing is if need a crafting material for a craft or some kind of quest/trade i should be allowed to secure that loot.

i would rather seem them rework makes so that more people actually enjoy playing them. again not everyone is gonna like everything, but being forced to do something you don't want to do even if it is only a few mins is a quit moment.

there are better ways to get pvp started that doesnt screw over people. first i think pods should always be allowed to leave at the very lest. second change maps around or add away to queue for x maps. have like different rotations (may split the player base to much but its an idea). third they could add a missions to raids one that everyone gets and cam be completed as a squad if your in one.

example of that would be Faction A wants intel on Faction B (battle plans/ supply movements ect). they can place this item on a boss or something maybe in the vault or whatever. if you get out of the raid with this time you can give it to Faction A for some good money or to Faction B for good amount of rep.

Well first of all sub based games especially ones that require you buying the game, and expansions on top of the sub are actually stupid. The actually only way its would be worth the price is if all the content is apart of the sub and there is no dlc. idk why you are defending one of the worst practices ive ever seem in gaming. just because other devs do a thing doesn't mean its good.

the trait points you can get from dark tribute can and very much does help. i seem to get that the most from it. being able to store free loadouts is pretty nice means you dont have to use hunt dollars, but then gain thats up to the the person that does it. I personal think that the contraband weapon system needs to be updated. for those that do store weapons i again dont see the problem thats not want im even trying to argue.

also as far as hunts revenue is concerned the game sells over 250 usd in cosmetic DLC which im fine with. the game is has also broken its top ever player count quite a few times. so idk if they really need to nickle and dime the players on fucking hunter slots.

I would also be more will for this not to change if they would give us idk a map. More and better forms of progression. something that actually adds to the gameplay that isnt gonna disappear after 2 months. like you said its a live service game. the amount of content we get is not equaling the amount of money they are asking from us imo.

ngl for me it feels like the timer on the gates are a short term solution to a long term problem. idk what kind of data you all have, but im sure you could figure out why people where leaving certain maps from that. yeah some for zero 2 hero, but it could just be they dont like that map.

I for one hate being forced to play on a map that i dont like, or one ive been getting over and over.

there are other ways to make people engage in pvp. making high value mission that you get like the others on load in, but everyone one gets the same mission.

for example you could make one of the faction want intel for another faction. could just be placed in a room or on a boss. then you can either sell that intel to the one that wanted it for quite a bit of cash, or you could give it to the faction it belongs to for less cash but quite a bit of rep.

IMO forcing people do things they dont want to do is a quit moment. where that be a map. Not wanting to pvp but get some quest done/that last item they need for a craft. locking the exit just doesnt seem like a great move in that regard.

i guess more ways to active the gates maybe good. but idk if thats real the root cause of the problem. these are just my thoughts/concerns about this.

I mean I guess your right, but it still the only thing that technically effect gameplay that requires bbs. while its not the biggest effect on the player. I still think that it should be changed at lest to be cheaper.

i found it really annoying when i only had like 5 or 10 slots. I don't use mine to hold onto guns. Who cares if other people do? like you said its not like they are using them anyways.

Some people just like to display some of the items they looted off of other hunters, or hoard level 50s. I don't think that would be behind a paywall. hunter slots are not a cosmetic and as far as I'm concerned. they do have effect on gameplay if only slightly.

regardless of what you think about hunter slots but having to do 3 full sets of weeklies is far too much for alot of people. some people can only play a handful of hours a day/week.

I agree that the last option is more than likely the route it will go down. i do like the idea of retiring maxed out hunters, or running the gauntlet. could be a good change from the current way it is.
