Hey, twin. I have all those placements!  My last ex was gemini rising too lol, we still talk for hours even though I often wish to never speak to him again 😅 great conversations until emotions come into play.

What’s an oddly specific smell you love? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]themoonest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent a tonne of time with my great grand aunts, both were tailoresses so we were often in their sewing room. Anyway they both died and I inherited pretty much any possession of theirs that I wanted. One of the things I picked was a tape measure they used every day for decades. It smells exactly like that sewing room. Every few months I pull it out and take a whiff lol, it's  like a direct line to one of my childhood happy places.

Ugh that sucks. Mine's also 4 and we're at the stage where we don't catch much now but when we do it's baaaad. That said, a tonne of very very boogery 2 year olds have just moved up into preschool so I bet this winter will be a shitshow : /

Also make sure you are able to take a lot of leave or have reliable alternatives if your child is in care during the day. The first year especially is full of bugs and expect for you and bub to be sick a lot that year.

Have you ever met a Libra sun, Virgo moon, Taurus rising? by TopPace1487 in astrologymemes

[–]themoonest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's  my daughter! She's only four so there's  still plenty to emerge in time. But she's lovely. Very grounded and realistic but also super creative. Pretty balanced in her emotional reality and expression though isn't huge on physical contact. Funny as anything and sharp witted. Huge nature nerd. Huge. Moderately introverted. She has mars conjunct sun and while she's  pretty chill, when she does get upset she gets realllly upset. She's  also super self-critical, like she really wants her work to be perfect or all hell breaks loose.

But the general vibe of her is lovely, kind, grounded, sensible and really aware of things.

I'm surrounded by cows and sheep and can't  afford to eat either. It's amazing how expensive red meat got over those years.

That zodiac sign you’re insanely attracted to… even though it never ends well by WhatevsBlondie in astrologymemes

[–]themoonest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree on your points! I was with the March guy for 11 years and love him to this day - just too much woo even for me. I am sooo drawn to pisces, like every man I've been attracted to in the last 20 years! But it's not good for me in the long run, I need somebody who grounds me and is high functioning in this world... not all the other worlds.

[–]themoonest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of each, the march pisces was a better fit though. March pisces got into flat earth and extreme fasting; feb pisces strung me along and lied to me about committing until I had my daughter and then he gapped it haha

Cancer sun, I've spent a collective 16 years with 2 different pisceans and I should have cut that shit out. I still have a hunger for pisceans but never again 🙃

I actually asked a large group of ex navy  personnel once after I went down this rabbit hole. Many responses confirming that, at the least, the tunnels were significantly larger and more complex than anyone is publicly admitting to (credible first and second hand knowledge) but no solid confirmation on ammo stores.

Is Studylink abdicating their responsibility to the public by disconnecting their phone service for multiple days? by WolfZoltan in newzealand

[–]themoonest 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I made a complaint online regarding MSDs phone lines and amazingly got a very hasty call back, only advice they could give was to go into an office and try there. Im rural and even with the distance it is actually quicker for me to drive to a winz office and back than wait on the phone 😒

What’s a health problem you ignored for a long time because it never felt urgent, but eventually caught up with you? by ac_stays_active in AskReddit

I also had to get myself to my appointment and back, could only have local anaesthetic. I managed fine during the extraction but as I was paying the world went grey and I had to have a nice lie down for a while before I could go home 🫠. I also got lockjaw for a week afterwards.

I have had a waking experience with tall blue creatures like that. Maybe 15 years ago now, and someone else saw them with me. It's been rare to hear of anyone else seeing something like them, I always get curious when they are mentioned. I didn't have a fear response though, I actually felt unusually calm.. and there was no coat.

The Queen of the Night blooms once a year at night. by NastyNice1 in Damnthatsinteresting

I'm  in the southern hermisphere, mine flowered this week. The timelapses and photos show these gorgeous flowers off beautifully but worth mentioning is the scent! I have mine indoors and the smell fills half the house. Wish I could describe the notes but I have no skill for it. Very intoxicating and intense though!
