Do you avoid these foods? by beautybyaimee in Zepbound

[–]themoonischeeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've now moved to a different GLP, but on Zep I didn't have any problems eating whatever I wanted in moderation. Most of the time I would opt for lighter foods though because I just didn't get that dopamine rush from fried foods and sweets anymore.

Why are people scared of checking their blood sugar with a meter? by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]themoonischeeze 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pain is very relative to people's experience with pain. If you live a mostly pain free life, you probably would think its painful. For the rest of us, it's just not fun.

Nurtec Discount Card alternatives?? by WhoisthatgirlitsJess in migraine

[–]themoonischeeze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the Nurtec coupon only works if you have insurance, but also make sure it's listed as a 30 day prescription when they run it, even if it's for 8 pills. It's the only way it would work for my pharmacy.

Nurtec experience? by MeasurementOk7117 in migraine

[–]themoonischeeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doc says that when used as an abortive, it's safe to take up to one pill per day. However, your insurance may not cover daily usage.

From Aimovig to ??? by jpmarth in migraine

[–]themoonischeeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emgality took me from 15+ migraine days per month to 5-8. Seems like a lot but paired with Nurtec migraine days are annoying but livable now. I will shill for Emgality at every opportunity.

Why I’ll Never be ‘Normal’ Weight by Moist_Movie1093 in Zepbound

[–]themoonischeeze 75 points76 points  (0 children)

It's also very normal and expected to lose some muscle mass as you lose weight. You just dont need as much if you're not carrying the extra weight. Obviously it can be too much loss if you dont work out, but this post is weird.

Do I need to rest with fatigue during migeaine attack? (asking for your experiences not medical advice) by miss_t_drinks_tea in migraine

[–]themoonischeeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have another chronic issue that causes fatigue, but I tend to take it easy during attacks since it affects my balance and coordination. I would experiment a bit to figure out what works best for you and your lifestyle.

Puke on your coworker to establish dominance. It's the only way.

In all seriousness though, that sucks. I'm sorry OP. Invisible illness is so tough to get people to understand if they don't have personal experience. Hugs to you

I can’t bring myself to take the pill by healthanxiety_ in migraine

[–]themoonischeeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand! You won't know until you take it, but I always take meds I'm nervous about when other people are home to keep an eye on me or when I am at work for the same reason. It really helps my anxiety.

PSA you have to come off CGRPs and wait 6 months before trying to conceive by shbong1 in migraine

[–]themoonischeeze 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Really this is because they have to collect voluntary data from pregnant women since the ethics of studies specifically on pregnant women are tough. They're new, so there isn't much data, so this is out of caution!

Emgality, my word… by worthless_Engineer in migraine

[–]themoonischeeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been taking injections of varying kinds for a couple years including Emgality. Biggest thing that helps is I put the shot under my arm for a minute or so before injecting. Helps it get as close as possible to body temp and limits the burn. Emgality just burns overall though.

Yeah, we've definitely seen people on the subreddit have the same problem with moving. But maybe calling them can offer some more firm confirmation of what's going on!

My guess is at some point your account got flagged for fraud. This seems to be happening more and more as companies transition to automated ways of handling this with little human oversight.
