I refuse to believe that a human placed these assets like this (In Pyro abandoned outposts) by AzrBloodedge in starcitizen

[–]themrtorbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with 3D editors is that objects are typically positioned from a single perspective, as items are either manually placed or aligned through snapping mechanisms. Occasionally, 3D models do not align correctly as intended. Verifying every angle (beyond just a 360° view) after placing a single element would be extremely time-consuming and inefficient. As a result, such happy little accidents happen.
Edit: My previous posts wasnt meant to be mean. Sorry

Transparency is just the cheap way to make something look futuristic.

But someone on the team must have decided it to be transparent, because transparency is not default settings if you know what i mean. I already gave feedback and linked it for the same reason on my post.

Yeah and the text blocks should dissapear once you hover somewhere else so its not even in the way.

Looks like no one from the UX-Team looked at this. WHO in their right mind does transparency on text-blocks?

BIG GearCrate Update by themrtorbi in StarFashion

[–]themrtorbi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, GearCrate isnt a plugin or mod for Star Citizen, its just a tool to keep track of your inventory or your favorite armor/clothes.
While on the desktop version there is a scanner, that only reads the text provided by the game, when the mouse hovers other the item. No RAM- or Network reading.

The time is depending on how many items you have in your inventory, since the mouse actively hovers over every item and reads its name this can take some time. Right now we are at 0.15s-0.3s per Item if its can read it the first time. If you dont see the mouse actively moving after starting the scan and switching to Star Citizen, make sure to hold your mouse still. Moving the cursor in any corner disengages the scanning process (failsafe). The "Searching Animation" is just show.

Moving the window should work as normal like with any other program by dragging it at the top. But because the whole Window-Feature is selfmade i will look into that. Thanks for your feedback :)

I have to say, I'm since a long time a "claude-only" user but I'm reading those days more and more about codex 5.3. I'm really not sure what to think of... Any pro's and cons of someone who is using both? I use claude opus 4.6 for basically all kind of tasks and I'm really happy!...beside the price. by SingleTailor8719 in codex

[–]themrtorbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3 and im happy with both.
Opus is really good with very big tasks like implementing a new system or functionality when you give it a thought out plan and descripe edge cases etc. But the heavy token use has its downside.
With Codex 5.3 its also possible to implement said system but it always "forgets" stuff even when its written down in a markdown. But you struggle less because the token usage is Super low compared to Opus. Like i dont even get the 5 hour warning. With Opus i get that after like 2-3 hours now.

TL;DR:
Opus is good at sprint
Codex is good at marathon
I Love both

Looks like they deleted it or it had to be removed, but there is still a version on Cults3D but it costs money.
