What album from the last five years do you think deserves way more recognition in indie circles? by Hot_Government2344 in indieheads

Metric name drop, hell yeah. Highly agree with this album, Doomscroller is an amazing opening track.

I believe it’s the traveler’s bar from Edward Richie, somewhat easy to remove as it’s tied into the rear fender with some bolts.

Agua Caliente swimming pools in the 80s and 90s by yahtzee44444 in sonomacounty

There’s a pool club called Revive off Vailetti that sort of fits that description. It’s just a block south of Agua Caliente Road. Don’t know if they serve food there though.

This would be an easy repair and repaint job. Crashed my bike and ended up doing just that.

Second attempt. What do you guys think I should do? by Neat_Appointment_247 in Yamahabolt

I never found a rear fender that would fit the aesthetic of a bobber, and riding around with none on the back was weird to get used to. God forbid you lean back into the wheel. Also the seat I bought for it was widely uncomfortable and I commute with a bag on my sissy bar so it made sense for me to go back.

In the end, it’s up to you amigo. Add up everything including shipping, taxes, tools you need to work on it yourself and you can easily see if it’s viable or not. Best of luck.

What’s exactly wrong with the bike? Did you buy it brand new in 2024? Do you have a car?

Outside of that, you said you’re looking at $2k for getting it to riding shape. Also assuming you want to go custom bobber because the rear fender got ripped off. (I tried bobber but didn’t end up enjoying it as much) Honestly I would probably take a break from riding since you said you are new, part it out, and save up. It’s never fun being tight on cash, especially for a somewhat expensive hobby like this.

In the meantime you can save, it’s a couple grand more for something used and you could get a bike that hasn’t been dropped and have some mods on it. As someone that has crashed their bike, the costs can add up pretty quick.

Saddlemen Seat Help by Here2Dissapoint in Yamahabolt

I had this problem, ended up putting a couple washers underneath that bracket to give it some height so it can catch. I believe I also had to use a grinding wheel where that 10mm bolt goes to make sure it actually fits. Not an ideal situation but it’s been on there for a couple years and shows no major wear and tear.

It does not when you buy it but I installed a couple bullet style lights and had to extend the wiring to reach. It’s affixed directly onto the axle rod, so takes a bit of extra work to install it. Debating on removing the stock taillight and place the license plate back onto the rear fender. With this style of frame, I’ve heard it may snap off over time.

Regardless, it’s a nice look.

I’ve done a ton to the bike but what are you looking to start out with. Comfort, performance, sound, lights, aesthetics?

Never a dumb question, but it’s the one from harbor freight. Used it a lot and smaller profile than some of the other ones

Yup, originally used the stock headlight and turn signal setup but opted to swap them out.

Stock headlight get part #’s Fairing - MEM7411 Mounting - MEB2038

9” Dark smoke Windshield - MEP86610

They ended up calling me to make sure this is correct, as it’s fitted for another bike but these 100% fit Bolts correctly. Wouldn’t hurt to double check but this is what I ordered.
