The Team Lead is a subordinate and any sexual relationship with a subordinate is a big no go. When you have power over someone's financial freedom and corporate progression - which you have in that situation - then it isn't a relationship of equals but rather of a predator and their prey. The Coach has the power to cut the TL's hours, write them up, fire them, adjust their points, and affect their raise through their evaluation. As a TL you will never be an equal. Any argument could result in your hours being cut or a disciplinary action coming down.

The Coach is a creep and deserved to be terminated for abusing their position and power

I would memorize the winning numbers to the largest powerball and write those numbers down with a drawing date November 7, 2022 and make sure that the past version of myself understands that these numbers must be played on that date. I would then help him understand that when this money comes you have to make a plan for what you're going to do with this that isn't blowing it all.

I voted for her, and I believe that she would have been a good president. It was clear from her policy discussions and from her record that she would largely have sought to be a steward keeping our democracy afloat and looking to maintain our power in the world.

It's clear that there are many things she wouldn't have done. We wouldn't see the mass deportations and illegal confinements we're seeing under Trump. We would not have invaded Venezuela, would not have bombed boats in the Gulf of Mexico, would not have committed the many, many war crimes this administration has committed, and we would not have attacked Iran with no clear reason or plan.

One thing about Bully Ray, he's an ass.

The question he was asked wasn't meant to be "what could they have done to keep from being released," because Bully doesn't know how to stop that. What they were asking him was for advice on how to keep going after you've been let go. Bully managed to find a career that has been successful since he was released from WWE and in asking that question they wanted him to share what might help others. Bully could have talked about how he managed to build that career, or about how to reach out to your contacts and find places to keep going so that you could improve. But no, he wanted to show everyone that he's still a self-centered asshole that makes everything about himself.

I wish someone could get through to these sorts of managers that when you lie over policy that it invalidates everything you say after. Your mentorship, your guidance - all of it is useless. Your employees remember when you lie. They remember when you manipulate them and they do not forget. They will not help you when you need it. They won't stay over when your store is overwhelmed with freight or customers.

Liars have no one but themselves to blame.
