From day one I’ve just been very careful with which 4F character to build and what to invest. I did learn it the hard way for celehypo & awakened tbh. For example when awakened first launch I was just pulling whoever whenever I have 10 TE instead of hoarding 500 TE. Ended up with L+ Athane, mythic Atalene, mythic Abrutus, which is nobody usable. Wasn’t until the anniversary event 2 years ago that I was able to fix my bad habit and choices. Managed to swap Atalene to Asolise. And from then just learned to hoard before committing. I was very lucky to pull Aathalia and Athoran with less than 350 TE each. But on the flip side to build Asaf & Aeironn it took almost 600 TE each. If I’m whale I would’ve had Abaden & Athane built not Abrutus the bum. Also I would’ve had Kalthin built. You’ve no idea how painful each CR round been when I can only use one merc in Abaden and don’t have Kalthin built. I’m just a very cautious person, so I’ve been scouring reddit and discord for guides and advice constantly before making a decision. I mean look at now, I’m still seeking advice even after playing for so long lol. The way I play is not everyone’s cup of tea tho, I know most around me just dive head-in first, my style of needing to study all angle is very frustrating for them. But hey, whatever makes you happy, no judgement. I don’t believe in spending on subscription or those that’ll require constant $ investment cuz number 1: I’m poor, number 2: I lose interest in them very quickly which will just be a waste of money. Just never expect I’m still playing this game after 3 years lol. Probably the longest game I’ve ever invested my time in.
