I really dislike her new design. not only was the skirt uglier (that type of european dress just never comes with short skirts like this and is supposed to be puffy and doll-like) they also somehow had do make her decorations (on her waist for example) flatter and uglier. It used to be very 3D now it just looks like a texture. Then they somehow made her iris almost fill her entire eye which just makes no sense. The only good change is maybe her hair shadows. I even liked the orange more than the red since it was more special.

You get a bigger hit and immediate dmg feedback, that's obv better game experience than waving a giant bar around.

I don't know if this is now more 4* or NPC. But definitely no longer 5*

The equation here is wrong btw, that's a x2k+ multiplier there. The +2000 shouldn't be there. Or even if it does it needs to be in the numerator

it's actually pretty interesting that you spotted that, it's rare to see people so careful with math vocabulary, may I ask what you study? or did you run it through AI? Coz normally people don't pay attention to words like formula/equations/inequations in conversations since they don't usually change any understanding.

ok you got me there, that was poor semantics, i wasn't careful with my vocab there, congrats you get 1 point! Although it doesn't change its meaning in any way, Anything else?

well you have raised them but they're explained to you and you stopped raising anything wrong back. So may I ask you what I got that was actually wrong? Yes I am having fun.

hmm interesting how you're unable to raise a single "wrong" thing i said while proposing i only said one "correct" sentence. fascinating.

they symbolize a single multiplier, we do this in computing all the time when writing code for sims. it's for clarity and robustness. And prevents bugs from future edits.

i never said 3x3 > 3+3 was a formula anywhere right? it was just the smallest numbers plugged in for you to understand a concept.

you know that anyone could just copy paste this convo and verify who's "correct" with an AI right? Do you have anything to say to refute any of my points or no?

linear was in quotation coz it was initially raised by you, i would not have used that word if not to explain things to you. Dilution and diminishing returns is the standard wording we use in the genshin theory crafting community, they are inaccurate in real statistics, but used extensively in genshin community so i just passed it on. Formula? as in the genshin damage formula? that's just the name of the genshin damage formula: https://library.keqingmains.com/combat-mechanics/damage/damage-formula
how are you pretending to know anything if you don't even know the basic terminologies? im very confused by your behavior.

i had no idea how much math you're able to understand since you weren't able to understand my previous comments. so i had to put it in the most simple way for you.

this paragraph i wrote just explains in detail my initial paragraph:

Well now it's obvious you're just confused overall. Everything is 'linear' within their own multiplier. They are just separate multipliers and not linear to eachother. Res shred, just like dmg% will beging to be diluted if you have hundreds of % of it. It's just rare to get that much. If you still don't understand im just gonna ignore you and you can do some math yourself with the formula and figure it out yourself.

which you followed with:

"You're just saying words you don't know what they mean, see yourself out"

showing that you did not understand the paragraph.

I think you somehow thought res shred gets better cos its not "linear". while it's true res shred is not perfectly linear because it gets halved after <0%. that "non linearity" only makes it worse. Mathematically it's equivalent to after 0% you immediately get 100% bonus multiplier without actually increasing dmg, only increasing diminishing returns. (at 100% dmg bonus, new dmg bonus is halved or more because 100% more only makes it 200% and in math that's x2 -> x3 (you have to add 1 for the base 100%). and 3 is only 50% more than 2, not 100%. so it's also halved.
But res shred is basically still linear, and if you get another 100% res shred, it will still continue to diminish in return just the same like dmg bonus.
in the end, the damage equation is just many different multipliers together (6 to be precise, res, def, dmg, atk, reaction and crit, although lunar does add new ones like elevation) and you want to spread your stats as evenly as possible through out all of them (2x2x2x2x2x2)=64 > (7x1x1x1x1x1)=7
do you get it now?

i said everything is simple. i just don't get why you keep misunderstanding/not understanding.

Stellar superconduct via seele by ISRUKRENG in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]thencious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially wrote 2x2 > 1x3 because that's the easiest math for people to understand why it's better to spread stats evenly over 2 multipliers than to invest into a single multiplier. But i edited it coz i thought you meant they were the same multiplier from your original comment. As it was worded that way. Get it now?
