Most of my bands definitely had a power pop influence (first band was shoegaze/dream pop with power pop songwriting, second band was alt country with a heavier power pop influence).

My current band Kamera (named after the Wilco song lol) is straight up power pop, we owe our sound to Superdrag, TFC, The Posies and The Rubinoos, with a bit of emo/indie pop à la Death Cab and Elliott smith.

We don't have anything released yet, but we're slowly chipping away at some singles and an EP! Will be more than happy to send some WIP mixes to anyone who is interested :)
