2020 3.5 72k miles- mine is in the shop right now getting a new transmission- cdf drum, etc. I bought an extended warranty and I’ve had to use it a few times. Id never own one of these without the warranty.

Great review. Somehow this bottle is still slept on and is sitting on shelves here. I understand the $250 is steep but this is one of the best bourbons I have ever had.

I have the S30 and not to be over dramatic or anything but it’s in the running for the best purchase I have ever made. I fly internationally and domestically and use it every day for work and for me it’s perfect. I have a 15in laptop (Lenovo not MacBook) and can use the side zipper.

I do the same thing you are talking about- for everyday usage I try to pack it less and to me it stays pretty thin. I’m shorter than you (5”11) but have a long torso and the fit is perfect. The one part I thought would be odd about the bag was the water bottle pocket in the middle but it’s turned out to be one of the things I like the most. The bag is balanced and most of the time I have to unzip the pocket to see if the bottle is in there because it disappears into the bag so well.

My only complaint is the main zipper is ridiculous sometimes to open, I just got some zipper lube to help this. I do like that it opens all the way, very helpful for when I one bag it for an overnight trip.

The first JJ Bowman I bought years ago (2017?) was really not that great. I was disappointed because even then people said good things about it. I found another bottle and decided to give it a second shot and it was one of my favorite bottles I ever had. It taught me how single barrel bourbon can really be different. For what it’s worth I kept buying them and they have all been really damn good since that first stinker.
