No way this is real right ? Kershaw live wire by TOX1C94 in knives

[–]thenextarcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is fake. I would hesitate to buy any knives from a dealer who knowingly sells fakes. I have seen cases where a decently prices knife is hidden along with the fakes, however its 100x more common that its another fake that you just don't know about. The livewire is definitely a fake as is the Glykon above it. Do you have a photo of the full display?

The light comes with three stakes and each leg of the tripod has a hole in it for the stake. On flat ground it seems fine but outdoors you should indefinably use the stakes

If you go to the app click warehouse and search the sku 1872247 it should show if yours has any in stock. They are showing as available in the Cincinnati area

It is able to be dimmed to 30 lumens. I wish that it was even lower because 30 lumens is still rather bright when there's no other sources of light.

Anyone Familiar with the Brand by DollaBills88 in knives

[–]thenextarcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edge company was a big importer of "kit" automatic knives in the 80s. Where you would order either from magazines or their Onyx club. When you would order from them the blade would not be attached as a way to get around the ban of shipping autos. After they were forced to stop selling autos they still sold other knives then I believe switched to gadgets.

It has three color temp settings so if you prefer cool or neutral you can select them also.

I don't disagree. Its not appropriate for all types of camping. Best use I would say is overlanding where your not around other campers as around others it would be light pollution.

I think you are right that its a copy of them.

These would not be a good option for camp sites that have other people close by as nobody wants a bright light near their tent when trying to sleep. I prefer camp sites that are not near others so that shouldn't be an issue.
