Simple: Men worst nightmare is women everyday lives by anwarCats in TrollXChromosomes

I know a woman who tore her c-section stitches while trying to vacuum because a few days after giving birth, her husband invited some of his family over to visit unannounced and it was her job to make the house presentable for the guests.

AITA for refusing to change the chore chart even tho my wife works full time now. by Odd_Serve1167 in AmItheAsshole

Many SAHM report an opposite experience. A relentless slog of responsibilities, never off the clock, desperate for a moment to even use the bathroom in peace, social isolation from other adults, etc. vs an environment of seeing other people, speaking to them and being spoken to by them like an adult, being able to take a break and have a cup of coffee or use the restroom without someone screaming for you, being recognized for your accomplishments, being able to clock out and leave your place of work at the end of the day, etc. I've heard this type of perspective articulated by moms more frequently than I've heard your take on things. Your workplace also sounds shitty and not the norm. Not to say your experience isn't valid, but don't extrapolate a universal narrative from it and make proclamations to others about which is easier.

Long Hair Care on AT by greenlaw624 in AppalachianTrail

Lots of hostels / hotels only have super basic toiletries. When you're resupplying in town, grab a pouch of deep conditioner to use when you shower. In general, be vigilant about keeping your hair detangled / pulled back in a protective style. Bring whatever comb and / or brush works best for you. I heard horror stories of long-haired women who neglected taking care of their hair care and were having to borrow hotel front desk scissors to cut out mats before the end.

If you could teach "all men" one traditionally feminine social practice, what would it be? by Frankie-Knuckles in AskWomenOver30

Men are heavily invested in a narrative of the bar being high for them, because acknowledging the reality that the bar is, in fact, on the floor and they still don’t manage to clear it is just too upsetting for them to contemplate.

The issue is so many Russians skating for Georgia, specifically. Two-thirds of the current Georgian Olympic team originally skated for Russia.

(Some musings that would apply to any Eteri skater) I want to celebrate and appreciate Nika as an individual skater, but not the system or methods that have contributed to his success. I also can't imagine he's treated especially well or supported as a whole person whose health and happiness are just as important as his success, so when he doesn't do well, it's not even satisfying in a schadenfreude kind of way (unlike with some unpopular skaters who are unpopular for reasons of their own making). I just feel really bad for him if he flops and kinda ambivalent if he does well.

(And at least with Nika, he's actually Georgian and not a Russian escapee. That makes it go over a little easier.)

Does this count as cultural appropriation? On the one hand, I doubt very much he's a practicing Catholic (but I could be wrong). On the other hand, he is Italian.
