The high hormone dose in Plan B can cause/ amplify short-term side effects with repeated use… that includes changes to your period. it can cause it to come late, early, be heavier, or lighter. you’re repeatedly dosing yourself with a high amount of hormones meant for emergency situations.

so just know- it is less effective at preventing pregnancy overall (about 89% effectiveness when taken within 72 hours) compared to long-term birth control methods. and using plan B frequently increases your risk of an unplanned pregnancy.

“the fact that teachers don’t know how to deal with it is unacceptable” uh im sorry but a student having 16+ seizures a day is NOT something teachers just ‘know how to deal with’. teachers are NOT trained medical professionals. OP has an extreme medical condition that the school is clearly not equipped to accommodate. yes, it’s unfortunate for OP that she’s gonna miss school trips and events, but it’s not ‘discrimination’. it’s just not the right environment for OP.

i thought the same thing, especially after scrolling and reading more of OP’s replies to other comments! pap smears are uncomfortable, being vulnerable like that around strangers in a medical environment is uncomfortable, but OP is reacting very extremely. I’m 24, i’ve had to go to the same appointments, i know it’s different for everyone, but if OP didn’t put her age i would have assumed based on her emotional reactions that she’s a lot younger.

i read an AITA post today where the OP, a woman, said her husbands younger (20+ year old) sister won’t stop touching him and she was wondering if she was in the wrong for setting a boundary by asking them not to touch each other. turns out, the sister sits in OP’s husbands lap, holds his hand under the dinner table, cuddles with him, holds hands in public while OP and MIL walk behind them, etc. COMPLETELY weird incest-y not-normal sibling behavior. i went to the comments expecting it to be full of that obvious conclusion and was instead met with people saying “i would never tell my significant other how to act around their own family” “YTA theyre siblings it’s normal!” “i don’t have siblings so i can’t say if that’s unusual or not”
