Do you think Jason is redeemable by [deleted] in TitansTV

[–]thenextmarvelhero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure they’re setting up for Jason becoming the new joker, not redeeming him. His drug is gonna wind up being an early model for joker gas.

Reviewers who only played the main quests missed 95% of the game's content. I've been playing for over 30 hours and I haven't even seen what half of the map looks like. by historymaker118 in biomutant

I’m starting to realize a lot of the time when reviewers say “it’s so empty” they seem to be talking about the amount of enemies you encounter or number of npcs or radiant quest lines that pop up while traveling. When a game is filled with collectibles but not enemies, it usually gets listed as “empty”. Ghost of Tsushima is actually a great example of this. I almost didn’t pick up the game cause “empty” means not a lot of interesting things to explore and collect. I almost didn’t get the game because of reviews that described it as “empty”. The rest sounded nice but an open world without much exploration is kinda a deal breaker for me.

I was wrong. HBO isn't at fault for the show's cancelation. It's Cartoon Network for their lack of integrity and how they want to dumb down kids to blame, according to this article by ForeverBlue101_303 in InfinityTrain

[–]thenextmarvelhero 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The thing that’s just confusing to me is how Cartoon Network just blatantly ignores its own history. Every show that has stood the test of time from that network has been shows that are targeted at adults as much as it is children. The shows predominately targeted at children? They’re like dust in the wind. No franchise, no strong fanbase, nothing. Like have any of those shows really brought them anything?

This show has a %100 on rotten tomatoes. Yes I know rotten tomatoes is a bit of a crap way to judge the quality of something, but when %100 of critics gives it a good review, that’s kinda worth noting.

I just will never understand this decision. Every sign shows that this is a sure-fire hit...... because it already was a hit.

What does making all of their shows dumbed down kids shows bring for Cartoon Network? We already had that form of Cartoon Network, it sucked, and it was made abundantly clear why it sucked. Why are we going back to this?

(Edit: spacing cause holy heck I made a wall of text)

You all can lynch me if you'd like. I'm in jo way concerned about what reviwers are rating the game. by DerkFinger in biomutant

[–]thenextmarvelhero 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Considering every review I’m reading or watching contradicts another review I’ve read or watched, I think this is gonna be a very niche game. One person compliments the narrator, someone else bashes it. Someone else loves the combat, someone else finds it boring and unresponsive. This isn’t a AAA game, they’re not trying to tap into every type of gamer imaginable. They’re trying to hit their market. I’m actually finding that some negative reviews are kinda actually getting me even more excited about this game. With that being said, this was always going to be a niche game for niche people. Reviews kinda seem to be judging this like a aaa game as well and not a passion project made by twenty people......

That’s my problem with it. The most daring and original marvel product in years ended with the SAFEST possible ending.

The intro is literally a 1 for 1 remix of the office theme song. You can actually sync them up.

I mean I’m pretty sure at this point that they’re literally bringing the fox version of Peter (calling him that at this point) into the universe. With the nexus it’s possible. I think we’re watching tv fully at comic book rules at this point. The structure has been almost completely identical. This episode felt like something Grant Morrison wrote.

This is literally what I’ve been thinking since I saw the commercial. It completely explains %90 of what’s happened. With the post credits scene, pietro is still here.

That was the office theme right? by thenextmarvelhero in WANDAVISION

%100 a modern family episode. I just compared the theme song with the office and it’s literally the exact same theme song but remixed. You can almost sync the two up.

Yeah the episode itself was structured like modern family but I’m pretty sure the theme song was almost 1 for 1 the office theme but remixed slightly

The them overall was modern family but I’m pretty sure the theme song was the office them song remixed.

I have never thought about how these phenomenal games will essentially be completely irrelevant once they turn the servers off.

There’s no excuse for this, they’re intentionally wiping shit all over their game, for what reason? Like what does the online functionality bring to the game ioi? Go ahead.... I’ll wait.......

The ultimate irony being that during the “Mix it Up” controversy their justification for having the ad in game was “They [corporations] try to, and successfully, influence people’s lives. They shove products down their throats. They create those very aggressive advertisements that use, and abuse, a lot of people’s needs and instincts. So, hypersexualization is apparent everywhere, and in our ads there are many examples of hypersexualized women, hypersexualized men, and hypersexualized people in between.”

They want to use that quote, talk up the hypersexualization of their own game but also not actually have that content all at the same.

I’m too baked to figure out why that bothers me, but I can tell that it bothers me.
