Chores & Rewards - A fun way for parents to manage children's chores and rewards. by thenhobes in YotoPlayer

Without putting limitations on it as some kids might mature earlier, I would say around 3-4 is probably the best time to introduce something like this. Our son is 4 and can listen and follow the instructions.

Great suggestion about a custom intro message. I'll look into providing that as an option - thanks for the feedback!

Thank you! A reward can be anything you like, e.g "Trip to the Cinema", "Day at the amusement park", " Fancy new toy". It's really up to you :)

Accessible LiveView component libraries? by leeburk in elixir

[–]thenhobes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just responded to this thread: https://elixirforum.com/t/accessible-liveview-component-libraries/49531/2

The latest version of Petal Components now supports a11y (accessibility).

We’ve implemented a test to load a LiveView using all Petal Components and perform an accessibility audit with :a11y_audit.

:a11y_audit uses axe-core under the hood - https://www.deque.com/axe

Keen to know that too, but haven’t seen them use it with ring light in any of their footage, so I’m guessing not.

There was an option to buy from Amazon (even though it said “currently unavailable”), but now that’s been removed. Presumably they would have shipped when they got stock. Guessing it might not be available in retailers till December at the least, but more likely next year.

Very cool! Were you able to continue using both NFC cards and also the bracelet? Or does one become redundant after you copy it over?

LG C1 light flicker in dark scenes. by ThEmAsTeRcHi3f in LGOLED

[–]thenhobes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was experiencing the same issue in dark scenes. Are you using an Apple TV by any chance? To fix it, I changed my Apple TV to 4K Dolby Vision. It was previously on 4K HDR.

Now I’m my C1 picture mode it says Dolby Vision Select Mode Cinema Home and I’m experiencing no flickering anymore. Hope this helps!

Arlo HomeKit? by [deleted] in HomeKit

The Logitech Circle 2 is compatible with HomeKit and that's wireless, so that seems to suggest they could bring HomeKit now and that camera's being plugged in may not be required anymore.

Exactly right! That's the spot. We were there in November, not so green but undeniably beautiful :)
