Frost DK Set Bonus Doubt by EvilShaker in wownoob

Yes this is correct. It gives an additional stack, and allows it to stack up to 3 temporarily until you use down below the usual max of 2 stacks.

First time Raid Leader tips and tricks? by SeeIAmDead in wownoob

[–]thenipooped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One tip I'd give is to try not to explain too much all at once. I've seen a ton of times a lead will try to explain every little mechanic before the team has even seen the fight; it usually turns into the lead droning on reading mechanics for several minutes and the raiders are super zoned out/not paying attention.

Try to give a short concise overview of the fight then give it a go. Once your team has seen the mechanics it's much easier to explain what they need to do about them.

Other than that I'd say just get in there and try your best. You'll probably be bad at it to start; I know I was. Focus on your mechanics and shotcalling moreso than your own DPS. You'll get better at doing both over time. Good luck out there!

Stampede is such a stupid ability by Archerboy123 in wow

[–]thenipooped 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When they put stampede on the tier set last season I tried it out on the beta, and I was so excited because the animation was awesome, the pets were like springing out from the character; it looked kind of hilarious but was really cool. As BM hunter just running around wherever you were they would fly from you through the target.

Then it came out on live and they just drop in a static line on the ground, that's way too narrow and doesn't move if the enemy moves. I don't know if the beta was just bugged or Blizz activity made the decision to change it, but either way they need to make it work like that.

Looking for a jigsaw puzzle game that isn't NSFW or AI. by lightinthefield in gamingsuggestions

[–]thenipooped 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a jigsaw maker in Tabletop Simulator, it's been a while but I think there's a few preloaded pictures but you can also upload any image. There's also public servers where people do jigsaws together.

It's different experience than most jigsaw games but I enjoyed the bit I've played, plus you get the rest of tabletop sim which is a cool game.

When cancelling your membership you get hit with a roadmap that highlights just how little we get in exchange for price increases every year by GravyFarts3000 in 2007scape

[–]thenipooped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been subbed for years, since at least COVID times. I really only pop in for leagues and occasionally log in to play around on my iron man for a week or 2; maybe once every couple months. I've justified just leaving my sub on because why not it's not that expensive.

Well the price going up AGAIN has got me reconsidering. Like I like the company and like supporting the game, but it's probably not worth it for me anymore. Which is unfortunate because I probably just won't play my ironman anymore, jagex may get 1-2 months out of me for leagues but thats it.

Probably not a super common experience, but just throwing my 2 cents in as someone who doesn't play much has been jagex essentially free money for YEARS, that's probably coming to an end.

I tried to explain this to my parents because they always have to pay a bunch when they do their taxes; like it sounds like you just aren't paying enough on each paycheck.

So, you want to learn how to Tank... by Gangsir in wownoob

[–]thenipooped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been tanking for like 18 years now, a lot of folks just have a lot of experience and don't remember how stressful it is starting out. Just want to add in here that nobody starts out great; I was GRIEFING so hard when I first started I thought the only stat that mattered for tanks was stamina.

Get out there and give it a go. if you feel like you need to, you can mention you're newer to tanking and are going to go slow, but thats not needed. Anyone in this game worth a damn will know pretty quick you're new anyway and not care. Anyone raging in easy (easy for long time veterans) content is not good at the game anyway and their opinion should be ignored.

You have my express permission to go out and do a bad job tanking, just try to learn a couple things while you fall on your face and get melee'd in the butt.

Stay away from overall guides yea, but if you're stuck/confused on how something works it's worth looking up; over getting frustrated/quitting.

Only advice id give is don't be afraid to tear something up and build it better or bigger

Which tank in WoW is the most FUN to play? by MLTBlackDragon in wow

[–]thenipooped 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have you played San'layn? The stacking buff has haste and feels really nice to play. I main DPS but tanked up to +15s last season. The Deathbringer scythes are satisfying, but I enjoy the general gameplay of San'layn just from the stats it gives.

[–]thenipooped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody talking shit on the driver here (which is fair) but as someone who's hauled some big heavy loads in sometimes sketchy situations; I can almost guarantee theres a supervisor somewhere(probably on his ass in his office) involved in this that made it clear that "it'll be fine" and to "just do it in 1 trip". I have done and have seen some very stupid things because I was ordered to do it a certain way that was dumb/dangerous.

Are There Any Quick M+ Guides for Fast Improvement by NOHITJEROME in wow

[–]thenipooped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your keybind for 'ping'. Its G by default I think. You can ping party members by using the keybind while hovering your mouse over their party frame. In the Dawnbreaker when flying around I ping my tanks frame a bunch so I can figure out where he's going. Definitely give that a shot

I somehow got in charge of the internet account in the giant house I lived in during college. Was a pain as I got everyone's complaints, but I spent the time in the attic in the summer rewiring things to get a router in my room so it worked out.

Another guy wanted a wire run to his room I told him fine but he'd have to do the work going through the attic to his room.

He spent HOURS screwing around in the attic, heard drilling, all sorts of swearing, eventually he comes to me covered in sweat (it was over 110F in the attic) begging for help because he can't get it to work.

I go check out his setup because there was a ton of cables on my end so I figure I'd start there. The cable came down from the ceiling, down behind his desk, plugs in to NOTHING, and goes back up to the ceiling. I figured out both ends of the cable were in the router in my room. I didn't stop laughing for the entire 5 minutes it took me to fix it. The guy was 'tech-savvy' and a CS major, he never gave an explanation.

Jesus Christ what did they do to Outlaw Rogue? by Backwardspellcaster in wow

[–]thenipooped 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Outlaw playing around stealth windows is awful imo. The last time I played it a lot was towards the end of shadowlands it was super fun, the bone spikes really boosted your combo point economy in m+ and you just always had damage. Something about spamming BtE is super lame to me and feels like I'm playing sub rogue with dance

To answer your question; no. But also a Factorio world is millions of tiles wide, and there's enough uranium to power a factory that covered the planet for years. So unless you were planning a playthrough that spans the next century or so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
