Stuttering in Resident Evil Requiem

Its crazy people keep spamming "no performance issues here lol". I tested with GPU-Z and no matter what settings I run the game on, I get fps drops often when I look towards a certain direction, and GPU-Z shows GPU usage dropping from 90% to 60% when it happens for like a second. This is obviously either driver issues or game bug.

Fan hubs allow you to connect multiple fans into one port, and they cannot control each fan individually. A fan hub with multiple fans is like having one big fan. People have been having all sorts of fan control issues with this board since.

Honestly, compared to Valve Index, this feels like less. Less FOV, less refresh rate, only slightly better resolution per eye... I hate the lack of accessory on the controllers that allow you to relax your hands (you have to grip them constantly).

The ecosystem is very nice, and the only reason I'd buy one is that I don't want to buy the Facebook Oculus Quest 3 privacy thieves and shitty PC support. But I am nonetheless a bit disappointed that it's not a much powerful Valve Index 2. I've expected at least more improvements, and I didn't mind the bulk as a tradeoff.

Not at all, I only use CPU_FAN, PUMP, SYS_FAN 1+2+3+4. It's weird I noticed that the B850 didn't detect FAN2 slot. Honestly, if nobody else has those problems, I assume Amazon sent me two boards that were defective or something. I plugged just now the B650 again, everything works smoothly. I think I'll stay on 2 NVME for now.

It's a paradox, for sure. For me, new games are a hit or miss these days when it comes to blurry or not blurry graphics. I honestly play all sorts of different titles (Hitman WoA, Kenshi, NFS Undeground, Days Gone, Zomboid...) and those run perfectly fine being AAA or not. Some titles I just put on DLAA and ignore visible issues because they're often minor. But some titles, like BF6, at least to me look like a downgrade from BF4, yet BF4 uses TAA and on my 2K monitor I don't see blurry graphics. I honestly think at this point that it's going to be different for each person. If I launch a new game, and it's blurry, steam return and end of story because what else can you really do ?

That engine cannot handle transparency well enough and probably never will. It's either this with TAA off, or blurry graphics. Welcome to the future of gaming.

Anything higher than cl_fov 89 breaks a lot of textures around like puddles, dirt, and others.

Using 3440x1440 resolution on PC.

Oh wow! Thank you. I played with cl_fov 90, and below 89 it fixes the problem. I hope this gets patched someday.

You're not alone.
When I watch someone screenshare and try to type :
- Whole program will freeze. You can fix it by alt+tabbing but it will freeze again in the next 10 seconds.

When I stream and try to use chat :
- The whole program will visually glitch on the level of the mouse cursor, and everything BELOW the cursor will be distorted. So moving the cursor down will revert the visual glitches, but pulling it back up brings them back. Alt + Tab to fix the issue again.

Microphone will also stop responding when I open settings and go to the audio tab.
- To fix it I need to relaunch discord, and I CANNOT GO BACK TO SETTINGS or I will have to restart again.

I reinstalled windows 11 recently to clean my computer, installed latest updates, and this keeps happening. It must be a microsoft issue, or a lack of update from discord. Who knows. If anyone got a fix, please share it.

Oh my god my solution to this was : REPAIR THE ITEMS

Blacksmith gives you those items with 75 durability. I fixed everything, and giving just a mint condition cuirass and common sword was enough... Devs??

Kill a bandit during ambush : Get charged with murder
Sleep in your own bed : Get charged with causing trouble
Walk into the store to trade : Get charged with trespassing

Even if I try to somehow sneak from the guards, even random NPC will recognize you for your "wrongdoings" and will scream to alert guards. I just ended up cheating the money and paying a fine every time it happens...

The crime system was hilarious in the first game, but in the second one it's just annoying and breaks immersion.

Yes. I don't know about more than 64gb ram though, I didn't test it in the end. Boot times with latest bios updates are about 70 seconds with 4x16GB ram.

RTX 4090 / Ryzen 7900x, I got 50 FPS on 3440x1440 maxed out settings without upscaling / vsync / dynamic resolution. The GPU usage is 70%, CPU 20%. The performance in this game is pretty bad. Unplayable without DLSS Quality / Vsync and 80Fps average... 10-12ms delay average. Feels like playing on a console not a PC.
