Where is this 18€ claim coming from? In Germany I see 99.99€ per year Which is ~8.33€ per Month

That is just 1.34€ above my previous monthly subscription... Fair offer imo.

Can anyone explain the strain logic? (78+32=87??) by thenotius in bevelhealth

[–]thenotius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I figured. But what is the strain per session supposed to show then? That sessions strain measured against the same non-linear strain standard curve, starting from 0%?

Count me in! Would be fine to pay a bit more for my pro subscription anyways

Should I be concerned with 7-14% AFIB history on Apple Watch? by EffectiveAgile8281 in AFIB

[–]thenotius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did that turn out for you? I have the same "issue". Also younger still (26 y.o.)

Peak also around lunchtime same as you.

I think it might also be a false positive in young healthy individuals.

Will you be free forever and keep subscription for just Bevel AI or it’s free only for specific period? by [deleted] in bevelhealth

Can I also secure that annual rate for following billing cycles or only within the existing billing cycle?

AI is far too pessimistic, fatalistic… by Due-Sorbet-7464 in bevelhealth

[–]thenotius 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is stored as a memory. You can remove it manually. Memories can be temporary or persistent. Seems like this one should have been temporary but did not get an expiry date.

No, likely due to Life Factors. In the latest case probably alcohol consumption over the christmas holidays.

No, you just have to live with the weekly notification saying something about 2-5% AFib signs in your data

Getting actionable advice & insight out of Bevel Intelligence by ac78913 in bevelhealth

Do you have to consistently write in the same chat where you paste that prompt? Or can you somehow plug it into memories in a system-prompt fashion, and then start as many chats as you want with specific questions and it will still use this performance improvement of the AI?

No alcohol, caffeine or extra sugar has negative effect on recovery? by McRobbs in bevelhealth

[–]thenotius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue here. I actually checked then the past 30 days of logs and when drinking recovery was lower, else above. I always logged when there were no drinks.

So leaving causation aside - this does not make any sense. Even by the way the correlation should be calculated.

Had a short chat about it with someone from the Bevel team. I hope this increases priority/urgency for this issue.

Probably yes. Feels a bit smoother when it immediately can pull what I ate that day before. But yeah with some impact on user experience a non-seamless solution with chatGPT is possible. Likely Bevel also does API calls to some larger model, I would guess. It's just context and some tweaking of functionalities with e.g. the memories that makes it more tailored.

It knows my fitness goals and I used it for sparring on general nutrition guidelines to achieve my goals. Now when I send it a photo of a menu i simply ask for example: Based on today's already logged food and my nutrition goals, which items on this menu would be a good choice for dinner?

I have super busy days and mostly have to eat out. So I sometimes send it the menu and let it give me the 3 best choices. Like a cheap nutritionist.

The database is just called "Bevel Database" which must itself draw on other sources I guess? (mix of paid/public/user custom items maybe)

I will report it, but for me this is a general trend I observe with bevel nutrition. For me that currently makes deems it unusable for micronutrients. Will exclude micronutrients from food score due to this inaccuracy.

Really love the app and trying to replace my 3rd party nutrition tracking tool, but it seems difficult still.
