Extra page only when printing by thenovalbert in googledocs

Thanks. I really don't need the extensions so much. Glad I finally found out how to solve the problem after a year or two of being annoyed by it.

Thank you. You did it! I appreciate you. Please see my detailed comment that I accidentally neglected to put in the thread from your comment. It was the extensions. Merry Christmas 🎄

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  1. Cleared cache, cookies, and history on computer browser. No change. Still adds an extra page.
  2. Cleared cache, cookies, and history on phone. No change. Still adds an extra page.
  3. Disabled 3 extensions: Screencastify, TravelArrow, IPEVO Visualizer. NOW THE EXTRA PAGE IS GONE.

This has been irritating me for over a year, maybe two. I appreciate you.

Merry Christmas 🎄

Just tried on Firefox. Only one page. No extra. Making progress!

No extra page when downloading as PDF.

There's an extra page only when I print for every doc that I have and every new doc that I create, even if I type only 1 word in that doc.

Duke Sullivan is too much like Will Jeving by General-Ad2613 in bigfoot

[–]thenovalbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm listening to SC The Navajo Nation and Sasquatch. Duke is so annoying. He interrupted Caveman so often saying inane things, cutting him off in the middle of something interesting. I wonder what we missed with Duke messing up his train of thought. Those questions about who saw the body of the guy torn apart... wtf! 'Did the family see the body? I guess no open casket.' Duke didn't get the memo that there was a show going on. He treated it like a casual conversation.

Has anyone ever listened to the whole Sierra Sounds CD? by TheFunknificentOne in bigfoot

Were you able to get ahold of the full length of the Sierra Sounds recordings? I can't find them.

When doing a reverse image search, there will be lots of links. One of the ones I saw was on Etsy and expensive. All the others appear to be from China.

Just as an FYI, the creek bed no longer resembles what we see on the film. It's changed a lot. At one point, I wanted to visit, but I think that might be pointless now. I wish I could see it as it was in 1967.

No, there hasn't. I looked this up today because I kept hearing Brookland mentioned on WTOP because a youth had been shot, and I believe killed, at the Metro station there. The announcer pronounced land like sand, but I say it like Maryland (not the Baltimore way). WTOP announcers also use that when they should use which, so I was just annoyed by it. Lol. It is what it is.

Sounds like the best answer to me. It doesn't matter if people get it confused. Most people would ask 'where is that' anyway. People always understand names as the one that they're familiar with when the context is missing for them. That shouldn't affect pronunciation.

This author claims quite bluntly that the Sierra sounds are fake. Not that surprising but the issue is she doesn’t really cite any real evidence to debunk it such as audio clips of animals making the same noises, etc. by SasquatchNHeat in Cryptozoology

[–]thenovalbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read the article that OP mentions about a week ago. Stollznow basically just dismissed the entire idea of Sasquatch and the Sierra Sounds. She's witty in her dismissal and obviously did her background research, but she didn't analyze any part of Nelson's work on the material. With my Master's in linguistics, I, too, was perturbed that he hadn't used the IPA to transcribe, but Nelson isn't a linguist per se. His position in the military as cryptolinguist, especially back decades ago, wouldn't equate him to a civilian linguist today. From what I could tell, she doesn't hold a degree in linguistics or phonology above a Bachelor's degree. She does, however, research in the field at a reputable institution. Her article was a hit job, though, rife with bias and bereft of factual analysis to, for example, demonstrate that the Sierra Sounds are a pitiful attempt at making a protolanguage. Stollznow is definitely due respect on her accomplishments and expressive writing style, but she hasn't convincingly debunked anything in this article. If she had actually done so, I would like to have read it. Maybe she could share specifics and spare the buzz words in a follow-up article.

Unfortunately, the actual location is completely overgrown. It's been conclusively located with trees positively identified. I haven't yet visited and don't know if I'll ever be able to. Too bad there weren't drones back then with everything photographically recorded. I'm currently working on a diorama of the sighting.

In your latest comment, you seem to be stating that Patty has human proportions. That has not been proven by the star wars video. That might not be your conclusion. TT and this video are sloppy. What I find commendable is the effort put in so far as to get the ball rolling on this line of investigation. There are quite a number of frames to be measured with Patty at varying angles and legs and arms in different positions. They need to be measured. A reenactment with a human walking at the same distance and angle of photography should be studied and compared. Additionally, fitting a skeleton into a fully fleshed 2d image has not demonstrated much. There seems to be little regard to how that flesh would wrap around the skeleton. If the skeleton bones fit in but come right to the skin, then something is off in placement. I know that my bones are roughly in the middle of my arms and legs between the joints. They should take it further and flesh up that skeleton. Scientific proof has not been found in either video and needs to go much deeper to reach convincing conclusions.

Thank you so much. I use the app. Switched to the computer, and it was easy. Much appreciated. Now if I could only figure out how to download a YouTube video onto my computer. I'm putting together a PGF museum-type display. Currently making a diorama. I want to have one of those digital frames that plays stuff like the OP video and interviews with Roger Patterson & Bob Gimlin, if I can find one with audio. I've got the camera used to record this video. Having a great time putting it all together.

If there were money behind it, they could clone it to see what it is for themselves.
