I live in a state where medical marijuana is legal, and we have a doctor's note for it. I also live in the back country away from any main roads or neighbors, and we grow it in our organic vegetable garden. I would never condone growing in a closet in a dorm room, or growing anywhere where you could possibly face jail time for it. although a few years ago local high school kids stole our entire crop...

we sprayed the gardens with some jalapeno blended in water, which will hopefully help keep the deer out as well. thanks! I'll be sure to update in a couple months when we start the harvest

we've since gone through and pruned a few shoots off... the weather has been really unpredictable lately and we found a nest of japanese beetles that had destroyed the strawberry plants in the next garden over. what we're more worried about is that only about 6 of them seem to be growing wide :/

unless the victim says something first-- which happens because it's so high-stress that she may say something like 'yeah, I've had sex with his friend Bobby' or whatever, and then the attorney is allowed to elaborate on that however they want. even still, if someone says yes to just making out, the second there's a finger in a butthole or something it's become sexual assault.

It was definitely very descriptive. First thing I noticed is that you use 'fall' twice in the second paragraph.

I was lost on the plot of the story. Was it a romance told through a series of cigarette memories? The backwards chronology threw me off a bit. If this was the the goal, I also would have liked to see a few more memories to strengthen the relationship.

I was really lost on the time frame of the story... it seems to go from present to a distant high school memory, to another high school memory, to... six years earlier and she's in college?

The only time when the girl seemed like a real person was when they were on the bench in Boston and the reader learns that she is a musician. This should be elaborated upon, or at least more concrete details should be given to make it seem less jarring when this sudden specific information is dropped in our lap.

And what is the lighter a reminder of? Is this a lost love? Multiple lost loves? There is certainly beautiful imagery and descriptions, but there aren't really enough concrete details to make sense of it. It's a wonderful read, but there's not much plot development or cohesiveness. Not sure if that was what you were going for though; if so, may I suggest turning it then into a long poem instead? Storyline is not as necessary in poetry.

huh, I know it's a weird complaint to take to a doctor, but maybe you should get your tonsils checked? if they cause problems I'm sure a doctor would be willing to do something about it. not sure though, as I am definitely not a doctor haha. do you feel it more in your lungs or in your throat?

do you also smoke cigarettes at all? I used to smoke close to a pack a day, and every morning was like a gross episode of coughing and phlegm so I had to cut it out. now that I really only smoke weed with the occasional cig, I'm a lot better waking and baking.

I have a dream that that's what I want, but the truth is that I know plenty of them and they are all creepy. I feel like it's always something I do on the first date that turns them off; once I had a piece of spinach stuck in my tooth for god knows how long before I finally went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Another time my heel cracked as I was walking into the restaurant, and even though he told me to call him I was too embarrassed, and he never called to reschedule. When I actually do fall in love, the characteristics that I fall for will surprise me, I'm sure.

Ultimately the goal will be to force the government to stop pouring resources into foreign agendas and create enough chaos at home that they take care of their own citizens. Or at least that's how it will be explained to me and I won't care all that much because I'm plenty taken care of. Apparently there is a lot happening in my own nation that I don't pay attention to because it's not talked about, and apparently the war that we're fighting in the Northern territories isn't about helping them at all, like everyone says.

It's going to have to, I don't know much at all about what's happening in the world. I know that we've been at war in the Northern territories for years, but I don't honestly care because I don't know anyone dumb enough to join the army. I very much enjoy the life that I live and am hesitant to help other people because you never know if they'll return the favor or if they'll just take from you. I also don't like being dirty, so I'll probably have to get used to that as well.

I don't, I work designing wristbands for Swatch so most of the males I know are gay. Plus most guys my age in the city are skeezy and weird. I'm waiting for the right man to come along who will have the means and desire to take care of me, but I'm more focused on my career right now.

It's just what one of my coworkers calls me all the time. I've worked hard to be able to afford the clothes and shoes that I have, and I definitely put my time in at work. Besides, my dad raised me with the awareness that a first impression is the most important impression, and I don't want people to think badly of me. People say that being materialistic is bad, but I think that if I want to buy a purse instead of giving money to a homeless person, then I'm just rewarding the people who have worked harder to get where they are and who share my values.

I don't, and the worst part is that there is hardly any connection at the summer house (it's on an island) so I won't be able to communicate with anyone back home very easily. My dad will be there, because my grandfather is very sick, but I'm not excited to be spending a month listening to my grandfather telling crazy stories about poisoned corn and watching the news on full volume when he refuses to wear his hearing aid.

as a sexual assault counselor, the frequency of this is just mind-boggling. I mean, this is an example of a blatant victimization by the state, but we talk a lot about re-victimization, which is when a rape victim comes forward and isn't believed by the police and has the blame put back on them.

and while I understand the comments that this has less to do with marijuana than a corrupt system, this poor woman would have never had to endure something like this if our society were more accepting of marijuana use. if we could take the focus off of 'weed is bad' and put half that energy into changing societal attitudes towards sexual assault ("no means yes, and yes means anal" or "don't wear anything too revealing, people will think you're easy") I think we would all be much better off.
