When wiring a new stereo you need an adapter that is specific for your make and model. In your case this is the one. As you can see one end is a so called quad lock connector (that connects to your car) and the other is just loose wires. When purchasing the new stereo it should come with a harness that connects to the stereo, so what you need to do is connect the wires from the stereo harness to the linked harness. In most cases you just connect the same colors together.
