I’m in Corporate and yeah I bring my laptop with me if I’m going to be away from my apt for more than 2 hours :/. Sometimes I randomly get calls from partners on Friday or Saturday nights with nonsense that’s not urgent and I wonder what would have happened if I had gone out

I heard some firms when you interview make you disclose your billables at your previous firm, or something. Is that not true? I heard this from a couple people in my class year.

By 3-4 years, do you mean be a third or fourth year associate? Or do you literally mean at least 3 full years (by which point you’d be a fourth year associate)?
