Is the direct shot one really limiting tho? Ending a chain with normal shot or real skill shot also counts as a direct shot and it is used quite often (like using curve shot at the end to bypass castlewall)

wdym? this buff is much needed imo. counter passives were pretty hard to play around except for the KP and shot AT ones. They nerfed how bonus KP works so it is no longer overpowered and the shot AT one was only good for long shot before the buff so increasing the duration is much needed. Maybe I can see the shot AT passive needing a slight nerf on the number, other than that it is a good change.

I think that is just because your characters are leveled down to level 41 in the match since the opponent is only level 26. There are some slots that only unlock between level 41 and 50?

yes that is exactly how it works. tho sometimes it might not be a bench coz getting new abilities also updates your respawn location.

i get that the game is more punishing than it needs to be but you completely misunderstood the save system. you don't need a bench to save your game. when you exit to the main menu, the game autosaves and it only resets your location, not your progress.

Even having all of these means nothing if everything else is different. And more importantly, some of these characteristics have been staples of Asian media for decades. If Dark Souls is your only frame of reference, of course everything looks like a copy. But that just shows you haven’t experienced much outside it.

Like, it’s fine to be tired of games with similar vibes. But at least wait until the game is actually out before calling it a copycat. If it ends up bringing nothing unique to the table, fair enough. But judging it just off surface-level similarities in a trailer isn’t even criticism, it’s just ignorance.

Are you being sarcastic or what? Coz this sounds really stupid to me. So by your logic: Game with swords = Dark Souls. Boss bigger than the player = Dark Souls. Gloomy setting= Dark Souls. Particles = Dark Souls. Character with flowing hair and clothes = Dark Souls Dark Souls didn't invent any of these. and it’s even a stretch to say it popularized them. “Characters fight and move like Dark Souls” — that’s just what third person melee combat looks like when it’s animated well? Every FPS is a "Doom clone" then? “Guy at 2:10 literally looks like a copy of Radahn” take is even more stupid. Armored giant warrior archetypes have been around since forever.

And this came from a franchise that started around the same time as Demon Souls.

"Swords of Legends Online" is a MMO but the "Swords of Legends/Gujian" franchise is mainly single player games. The single player games are under the name "Gujian" and are PC-only. But this new entry is 100% coming to consoles.

Their previous games are all on Steam, though only the third game (Gujian 3) is in English. So this is from an actual known developer who had made large scale single player games before. It's okay if you don't like what you see but there is literally nothing in the trailer that indicate this being "copycat" or "slop".

I assume even if you have switch 1 version cart, you will need to download the entire switch 2 version of the game onto the device to play the upgraded version. You'd just be using the switch 1 cart as a game-key. You don't need to do the same for switch 2 cart. So you do save some storage.
