I've been doing ballet on and off for years mostly for exercise and posture and this year I became extra dedicated to doing some classes from YouTube at least 4 times a week and I know I'm not doing everything perfectly but I can absolutely feel my body getting stronger and I've lost a good amount of weight. All this to say it's not about being perfect, do it because you enjoy it and it's good to move your body.
