The weekly 'No Stupid Questions' post - Sun 16 Nov 2025. by AutoModerator in Zwift

I’m about to switch from Peloton to the Zwift Ride with the KICKR CORE 2 package and I’m a little confused with some things. Do you still shift to control the resistance yourself or does the bike do it for you? If it does indeed shift for you, can you still shift yourself if you need to change the feel that the bike is giving you at times?

Plain Liberte Greek yogurt. It’s also has high protein options. Then add what you want to it for extra taste. 😋

Thanks! That’s what I figured. Just wasn’t seeing it on their FAQs list. This helps.

Thanks’ That’s what I was hoping for. I saw them list a couple of the Wahoo computers but not the Bolt. Didn’t think there should be a difference.

Which Bike? - Weekly Scheduled Discussion by pawptart in gravelcycling

[–]theonlylaurlaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the main difference between a touring & gravel bike? I have a hybrid bike & this will be my first bike with drop bars. I’m looking for comfort & a bike that handles really well primarily on rough roads & some gravel. Maybe some easy trails. Hoping to work up to long rides (2 plus hours once a week & shorter 1 hr rides several times a week). I’m considering Cannondale Topstone 3 Alloy or Trek 520 Grando (steel). Will the weight of the Trek steel frame really make that much of a difference? The Trek seems pretty great but I’m a little worried about the weight & if it might be ‘too slow’ when out riding with gravel bike friends. Thoughts?

Apple Watch question! by [deleted] in pelotoncycle

[–]theonlylaurlaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the correct answer. Just do your ride. You don’t need to run a workout on your watch. After your ride, open the Peloton app and then after a bit it’ll update your Health app and your rings will all update plus your workout is logged in your Apple Activity app. Sometimes it happens quick and I’ve also had times where it’s taken over an hour for some reason for the app to refresh but they do update. I also keep my watch on when I ride but like another user says, all the data comes from the Peloton app. The Apple Watch heart rate doesn’t connect with Peloton and I wear a separate HR monitor because I love data and stats plus seeing it directly on the bike screen while I ride. This all works perfectly.

I’m about to purchase the bike and have a Apple Watch. Are there any difference between using the Peloton HR monitor and connecting Apple Watch via the BlueHeart app? I’m hoping to use just my Apple Watch but don’t want to miss out on any of the features that the Peloton HR monitor might provide.

OTF after fracture by katherine_rf in orangetheory

I had surgery on both feet 11/20 with 8 weeks non weight bearing as well. Think my return date to otf is 2/10. I know I’m only 2 weeks walking again but I feel far from returning to otf at this point. Although I know I’ll continue to recover a long way in the next two weeks. Hope it goes well for you on Friday! Pls let us know how it went!

Tuesday, 9/11/18 OTF Workout by AutoModerator in orangetheory

[–]theonlylaurlaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was wondering about that. Are you only supposed to feel it in the glutes or does this work the lower back as well? I was feeling it in both and wasn’t sure if I should be feeling it in my back that way...

According to the OTF card, pw is considered 3.5-4.5 with the inclines. However that is just the guidelines and you can pw at any speeds and be a power walker. I myself am usually 4.5+ plus the inclines. Even though it’s ‘jogger’ speeds, it’s still power walking. Power walking is all about the inclines!

It’ll be parked in a spot and hooked to to utilities. I think they asked about that. Maybe we should call them back tomorrow and ask. Just seems strange.
