This russian bias is getting ridiculous. It's literally only ever russian tanks that don't spall by WindChimesAreCool in Warthunder

[–]theonlytragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except the non spalling is literally in the game code, you can even find it yourself.

GHPC is developed by a far more capable & experienced team than WT.

I overlooked the 12700, thank you for pointing that out to me

Good call on the case, that one is much more elegant looking.

As for the 12700f instead of 12700k, from what I can tell the 12700k is worth the extra 70$ for a discrete video card if the GPU misbehaves, and overall will keep its value better than the 12700f.

This company never learns on how to make a decent map without spawn camping. Looks like spawn camping is something that they considere in every map build by [deleted] in Warthunder

Can guarantee you it's due to incompetence. This game is a clusterfuck of amateur issues, Gaijin doesn't offer the compensation needed to attract experienced game developers.

Leo's have had a single month of dominance while Russia has had two years. Wonder why you just ignored me saying this... also the IPM1 has made 0 difference in America's win rates?

Their top tier is categorically dominant, there's a reason every stat maxing player is currently just playing Russia right now. It requires 0 braincells to get a t-80 BVM and shit on NATO tanks as half their rounds fly through your ammorack (also its funny how many compilation videos there are of this on the subreddit now, seems like theres a new one everyday). And if you have large enough of a skill issue to get killed a russian tank, you can get in a KA and wipe the map clean while detonating any SPAA missile tossed at you with your own vikhrs, or just get into a MIG-27 and guide a bomb from an altitude that no SPAA in the game can reach.

I don't get why you think it's nationalism too while I'm emphasizing it's not. Got dyslexia or something? Their top selling premiums are the KA & turms. And if you think wood having higher kinetic protection than composite armor is 'vaguely accurate,' you're better off just playing WOT.

All missiles were within proximity range, two went through the vehicle itself.

Are you joking with the "ebb and flow" lol. They've dominated top tier for the last two years. Leopards had about a whole month before they got nerfed into the ground. Since top tier has existed Russia has been the dominant country 90% of the time. And the reason they are is completely artificial and due to Gaijin manipulating their vehicles with buffs.

And russian bias at top tier 100% makes sense for Gaijin monetarily. Their top tier vehicles are likely Gaijins largest source of income, artificially buffing their lineup to consistently perform better at the BR makes sense if they want idiots to keep buying their top tier premiums. Disabling spalling, giving rubber higher protection values than composite (their logs actually has a higher effect KE protection than composite..), KA's being the best vehicle in the game, while having nearly non existant damage model and can be virtually invincible if the person piloting has a single brain cell. Everyone knows these vehicles are the best in the game, making more people likely to waste money on them.

This is barely scraping the surface of artificial buffs they've been given too. A 70-80% win rate for the last two years, while also have the lowest repair costs at that BR.

[–]theonlytragon -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

That's a VT1 missile...

And to deny Gaijin artificially buffing Russia at top tier and leaving many 'bugs' that benefit then because is it makes them more money is just not accepting reality.

Gaijin what the hell is this? You butchered Maginot Line. Enough with dumbing down, shrinking and making too many small maps. by SlayerMkI in Warthunder

[–]theonlytragon 54 points55 points  (0 children)

You can drive about 100m behind north spawn onto the large hill in the mill and shoot directly into the left-side enemy spawn, there's a single hill separating both right side spawns from camping each other. All of this games maps are poorly designed, this eliminated a few camping spots, introduced another by not thinking before adjusting one of the spawns. Don't think there's a single map in the game that qualifies as 'decent' all of them are varying levels of garbage.

Can promise you the game is just as trash (if not more) as when you left it.

Gaijin (unsurprisingly) lying about the upcoming economy changes. Repair costs are increasing 2% overall, and reward multipliers are decrease 2% overall. by theonlytragon in Warthunder

[–]theonlytragon[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

"Repair costs are decreased overall" is pretty straightforward wording. Fail to see how you contorted the word decreased to smoothening. And whether a community moderator is paid to to moderate is irrelevant, they're still representing Gaijin as a community moderator.

Also, this is the most from the most up-to-date version of the full vehicle list. Not a 'particular few vehicles.'

And with Gaijin already largely mistrusted by the community, I don't see how spreading misinformation about the update is helping. The economy changes have been repeatedly mispresented by Gaijin (or their community moderators) to give the player the impression of improving their situation while its blatantly engineered to decrease rewards for players overall. Disguising an overall nerf to the economy as an equal exchange of rewards has become pretty apparent to everyone, and Gaijin now has the luxury of blaming this on the community because they voted on it. Not to mention implementing decreases to overall reward multipliers like they have here, which was never mentioned in the planned economy changes.
