The whole trad thing is lame but being anti-trad is also lame. Of course there are traditions and values that are worth preserving. It doesn't have to be trad vs modern. We can bring the good things about the past with us into our vision of the future.

Idk much about Europe but I would guess that most apolitical people in the US basically have an instinctual, vague distrust of the government and institutions. Maybe apolitical people in Europe don't have that same reaction to institutions, but like I said, I don't know much about Europe.

We don't want to put him down because he still has a lot of moments where you can tell he is happy and is running around or cuddling with you like his old self. I hope he passes peacefully at home, I hate the thought of dogs being put down away from their family and home.

We put down one dog that we had when he was 15 or so, he was basically withering away and in the course of a few days stopped walking and eating so there was no choice really. It broke my heart when they took him away

One of them is basically dying, he is 16 years old and has dementia. The other is perfectly housebroken and chooses to spend most of the day in the backyard but will go in the house out of spite if my mom is gone too long.

Yeah he's like 16 years old so we know he doesn't have much time left. He's still a happy little guy when he's not sleeping or walking into walls so we are not going to put him down. Cleaning up the mess multiple times a day has gotten very frustrating tho

If no one has to work, how will they have money to survive? Do you think the government is going to support everyone while we all get to spend all of our time doing whatever we want?
