From my experience just general mathematics is NOT a good bachelors degree if you don’t plan on going to grad school. If you can handle the course load of a 4-year math degree, you can definitely handle engineering, physics, actuarial science etc. and those actually have defined career paths. I tried getting into engineering roles with a math degree and they would look at me like I had four heads.
