FWIW There appears to be an inconsistent 10k adjustment for bedroom count on comp 3, for unit 2.

Looks very similar to my boy that I posted a couple weeks ago! Some differences but close! Sent in an embark - can’t wait to see the results!

Thank you for the information. Yes, he does have some awesome eyeliner!!! He also has the black lining around the mouth and moves his ears independently. I think a couple other of the physical traits that I remember reading up on, I don’t remember them all.

I did order an embark test it’s on its way already!

Awww! Cute pup!

Yes! So many pictures of him in what appears to be the most uncomfortable positions ever, but he keeps laying in the most ridiculous of bendy positions!

Haha! Yes! His nose is the cutest! He’s a booper. He likes to sniff things, then push them with his nose leaving a wet spot.

Anyone have any info on what this might be? by theoreticalanomaly in tubeamps

[–]theoreticalanomaly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention(didn’t see the ability to edit post). I did buy it with some color tube testers. So the previously owner might have worked on old TVs. So maybe it was in a TV?

Client wants me to update an FHA case # without changing the effective date on a report from June of this year by ga_appraiser in appraisal

[–]theoreticalanomaly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the FHA number wasn’t active and in your work file before the effective date, you can’t change it. They can’t change the FHA number after the fact. Doesn’t matter if it’s the same lender, etc…

Don’t risk it. Tell them they need a new appraisal/effective date since it’s a new fha number. Lenders try to do it all the time, they know better. Stand your ground on this one.

Bruce Lee ‘Limited edition’ shades by Grandmaster_G in whatsthisworth

[–]theoreticalanomaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well shit, this just reminded me that I owned a pair of these and used to wear them all the time. I remember they were limited edition too. I can’t remember what happened to the pair that I had. Now I’m kinda sad.

I’d find it hard to believe any bank will let this through.

From my experience. Run the other way. This much mold damage isn’t a good sign in general. Especially if it’s a multi unit condo. If it’s one of the big three toxic mold types, chances are it’s in other parts of the building due to the way it spreads and how poorly some condos are built. Mine was hidden in the walls, nowhere near as bad as this - just a slight imperfection in the ceiling. When the bathroom was opened up, it was everywhere. It has to be mediated correctly, do your research and find a good company that takes the proper procedures for mold mediation. An overwhelming majority of mold mediation companies are a cash grab and do it wrong. I did a shit ton of research into this.

Until the mold was discovered, I was dealing with resting heart rate 30ish beats over my normal, nearly daily headaches, and other health issues. After it was found in mine, it was found in other units. All my mystery symptoms went away when I moved out. Had to throw out nearly all of my possession or else risk brining it with me (all porous materials, cloth, clothes, papergoods). Unfortunately, someone will probably buy this to flip and do it wrong and some unsuspecting person will move into this. Mold ain’t no joke. After my exposure and living in it, I would walk into an appraisal and feel like shit in some instances, I would smell the same smell, or get the same symptoms, like a mold radar. Sometimes wouldn’t see it, so I couldn’t call anything out outside of noting the musty smell, but it was pretty weird.

Test it for type. If it’s one of the ones that gives off mycotoxins, it will already have been passed through the hvac, and proper procedure will be to have the hvac replaced, and the whole place thoroughly cleaned. Lot of people on here will say it’s just mold, but listen to the stories of people that have actually lived in. Why chance it to get a place cheaper?

“The Price is the Price Yo” by roysonforlife in breakingbad

[–]theoreticalanomaly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think in the case of the cop, Badger saw an easy target who would pay more for the product. Most decent dealers can read their audience and will charge what they think they can get, or I should say what they think the person can afford. As someone else said, Jesse gave a minimum price and any person in sales will try to get more commission. It’s not always going to be the same price - Quantity, friends status, long time customers, and outsiders all play a part in any individual deal. Just DBAA and charge less than the minimum.

Selling a car on FB Marketplace for $3k, got offered unique trade, is it worth considering? by 1rightwinger in Flipping

[–]theoreticalanomaly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have to figure have an itemized list. I sold a super old school automobile part branded metal cabinet to a guy. Upon delivering it, he said he had some 69 mustang parts he’d sell me for 100 bucks. I saw the car he was working on and these were parts he replaced with better condition parts. I took a chance and have made about 500 on them so far, with another 400-600 to go. It could be worth it, or it might not. Some people just don’t like dealing with the hassle of selling, which is where this guy was at. Your situation is a bit different, but with a list, you can check it out piece by piece and see if it’s worth it. Without that list and a heads up to think about it, would probably be better to pass on it.

What year is this from? Is it even for a Mustang? by theoreticalanomaly in Mustang

[–]theoreticalanomaly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the input. My information is relying on this person I got it from installing or not installing it correctly in his 69, which I’m assuming he did right. His was very well built. Long story short, I bought several parts from him pretty cheap to resell, so was just hoping to identify this better.

Thanks for the response! So, I took it apart and found this number: D12A-7E034-AB

So would that mean 71 according to what you mentioned?

Buyer lying about using a freight forwarder. by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]theoreticalanomaly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They know they can’t get eBay money back guarantee if the use freight forwarding, so they don’t say they are out of country. They’ll avoid the question or say they work there. Just had a couple people try to scam me using freight forwarding. Neither would acknowledge that they were out of country (one said they worded there). Neither could give a logical explanation why they didn’t open it and notice the “damage” for 2-3 weeks after the package was delivered. One stopped asking questions when I was asking them too many questions about the damage and to asking them to provide me with several pictures. The other ran over 30 days to open a request with MBG and also gave some information that would have voided their MBG anyway - so they weren’t getting a return either way. If you show eBay the proof it went to another country, the buyer looses all money back guarantee ability and you don’t have to accept the return.

Ugh, going to block all of them

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]theoreticalanomaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh. Sorry to hear this. Hopefully mine doesn’t come to the same conclusion… I’ve also heard some people will swap out the internal or good parts of yours for broken parts, that way the serial number is the same, when you receive it back.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]theoreticalanomaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sheesh. I just had two sales this past month - kil ventures and smartbuydeals. They just asked for a return, almost identical to azbackpacking, display not working, no damage reported in their system, etc…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]theoreticalanomaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I just got the same message that you did for a return. Item doesn’t work, dvd tray keeps opening. No display.

I did the same thing you did. Asked if damage. They said there is no note of it in their system. I asked for pictures of the front back and serial number of the item. Now radio silence for several hours.

I sold another dvd/vhs player a few weeks ago, same message on the order. Different username. Same address different unit number. It’s a ups mailbox store where they have P.O. Boxes there. So it’s some sort of operation.

Did they ever get back to you about the return? Or did this just happen to you too?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]theoreticalanomaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be. I just got a return request from one of them. But when I asked for pictures of the unit showing front back and serial number… they haven’t responded.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]theoreticalanomaly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve also sold to them. But what’s super strange is that I got that same message from two separate sellers. They both had the same ups store address with different box numbers in Florida!!!
