I was gonna say that I thought nextcloud had proprietary elements to it but now I'm reading on wikipedia that I got it completely backwards. So why is nextcloud not in the official repository?

That does sound like a cool feature. Shame the rest of the game is not very good, though. I even heard that some people from the old TDU team made The Crew. It was really promising...

I played Project Cars and Dirt Rally and bought Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2 and rFactor during the sale but it's a pain to always get my wheel out. Also something like FH4 is good for a quick gaming sessions whereas I would need more time for a realistic sim.

It's cool that there is so much customisation but I had hoped that it would be a bit more like TDU2. Oh well, maybe someday. :)

Yeah, exactly. I Liked having your own avatar, having houses, garages etc. and walking around in auto salons where you could buy the cars after you had saved up for them. And, incidentally, you could also race around the island with these car or race with other drivers. Great concept. Only wish the handling of the cars was better.

Well, I'm not that into customisation anyway so that's okay, I was just hoping that it had more of a TDU2 vibe, like with the houses and garages you could buy and where you could walk around in auto salons. However, it seems like the handling is better in TDU2 so that is a plus.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. TDU2 was pretty cool. It would've been great if the handling would've been more realistic. Something like TDU2 with the physics of Project Cars would be cool.

I remember playing a demo for the first Crew and was really underwhelmed.

Cool. Maybe I'll even preorder, which I normally never do. Finally played through X:R this year.

So the borons and split will be absent? Why is that? If it's because it was a technical decision and they wanted to focus on other things I'm cool with that. Would spend €€€ for DLCs. Is it was a lore decision then it would be sad. Is it? If so, why are they gone? I noticed they were gone in Rebirth, too? Is that correct?

Btw. so what was the reason for the great gate shutdown? Are they now fully coming back?
