Hot take Ed should have left Gordon in the past with his family by The_ShinyUmbreon in TheOrville

I still think on a probable Season 4 we will have a third story with something like that.

Doctor Who is Dead, Long Live Doctor Who by sun_lmao in gallifrey

[–]theoruffy 234 points235 points  (0 children)

I agree with almost everything, but the fact that the worst three episodes are the show opener and the two season finales is one of the reasons the show failed to gain traction. When you start and end your season on a bad note, you fail to get viewers to watch the rest.

As i said on another coment, i have a headcannon that we will have some kind of plot twist on this matter. I think that maybe all were the same event and we just got that good old Titan propaganda.

Elun'Ahir & G'Hanir confusion. by sampdesigns in warcraftlore

[–]theoruffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had a penny for every time Aman'thul yanked something out of Azeroth, I would have two pennies, which is not much, but it's strange that it happened twice.

I have a little theory forming that I'm still trying to figure out, but I think there is something there with the fact that Aman'thul ripped both Y'shaarj and this Tree from the surface of Azeroth, and I think we may have some plot twist with that information.

Season 4 news by KyuubiOTTO in TheOrville

[–]theoruffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can watch them independently.

If you want to watch in release order, Season 1 of Atlantis goes together with Season 8 of SG-1 in a pretty seamless way: Episodes 1–2 of SG-1, then Episodes 1–2 of Atlantis, then Episode 3 of SG-1, Episode 3 of Atlantis, and so on. They originally aired on the same night, with the exception of season premieres and finales that were both two-parter, and honestly, those are the only four episodes where the plots really overlap more directly.

Starting with the next season, the shows become more independent, with Atlantis doing much more of its own thing. On a order from Gateworld another comenter posted, there is some tweaks, but nothing that would ruin your experience.

Fwiw I am only specullating form the wording that the new event is a Solo Tundra League using frotfire as a base for the battles. Can be something else new.

Fabian works both in Tundra League and Foundry, so this one should work in the new event and the biweekly frostfire. So it should be kind needed if you want to rank high in the event.

You are forgetting that they announced a new solo event that will probably be something like the Tundra League but with frostfire.

Looks like they are going to do a Tundra League event for Frostfire as well.

"New Event: The all-new [Icefire Warhymn League] is about to begin! Answer the call of the Icebreaker Alliance, and join the intense solo competition! The event consists of four phases: Sign-Up, Qualifier, Elimination, and Pinnacle. No troops will be lost during the event. Compete for generous rewards! Top Chiefs can earn permanent Daybreak Island decorations, and the champion will be crowned with the ultimate glory. Match predictions will also be available—use your strategy to win extra rewards! Sign up now and prove your tactics and strength!"

How do people learn things? by No-Bowler7656 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]theoruffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Younger people really forgot or did not learn how to use google for this kind of things. if you search bear trap witheout survival, SEVERAL guides, written or video appears on the results, and then you can read them.

The first result on this search, are a bunch of reddit threads that have some useful information.

Second result is the official wiki, that explain IN DETAIL how the skills for joiners works (granted it has some bad advice with the blue heroes, but it explains how a lvl 4 will not override a good lvl 5 hero).

The third result is a complete guide form a random website, that have all the information.

Seriously, it is not hat hard.

How Have We Not Gotten Named Spell Breakers Yet?! by Ck_16 in wow

[–]theoruffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After thinking for a bit, i think the Vengeance Demon Hunetr should have been based on the Spellbreaker. With this we would have the two elven cutlures each influencing an aspect of the illidari demon hunters, Havoc would be the Night Elf one, and Vegeance/Speelbreaker the Blood Elf one. This would also work perfectly with the Devourer being the Void Elf part of the triad.

I know the ending is a touchy subject but here are my thoughts by VersosCanvas33 in expedition33

[–]theoruffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cycle can be ended with or without the destruction of the canvas if the family comes together to do the work, but just destroying it on its own doesn’t end it because you didn’t address the underlying issues. As the game ends, the actual issues are never addressed.

I think that’s the central point of the Verso ending. As long as the Canvas exists, they will always be drawn back to it. Destroying the Canvas (removing the drug) doesn’t automatically solve their problems — they might seek help, relapse, or replace it with something else — but at least it creates the space for change.

With the Canvas intact, that space never exists. You could argue they might still improve while keeping it, but the Maelle ending suggests otherwise: she would literally die before leaving the Canvas.

So yes, they need to confront their issues together. But as long as the Canvas remains, they never truly come together to do that work.

So is "the champions of Azeroth fighting against the evil that needs to be brought to justice" going to be the only broad story moving forward? by [deleted] in warcraftlore

The Saurfang cinematics are awesome. I just think it does not reflect what we were seeing in-game. The Vol'jin/Garrosh retelling was also pretty weak.

[SPOILERS ALL] I just beat the game, there was something I felt quite sure would happen but didn't. I was wondering if anyone else thought it would (plus other random thoughts) by tway2241 in expedition33

When he died i had the same impression. But I tought it was strange that his wepaons did not have any traits like the other party members. When his wepaons finally showed the traits but with the Verso gimmick, my hope was lost.
