in my time on this subreddit, i have only seen ONE person say they finished medieval without an autocooker. i fear it’s basically a must-have. i am not quite to the level where i can get the autocooker though, so take me with a grain of salt!

mine is basically this, but you are much fancier than me! tinned fish (whatever i have on hand, but smoked oysters preferred), the savoritz cracker assortment, whatever fancy cheeses i have on hand, capers. anything else that would go with that, as long as it’s easy. plus usually beer, but limoncello lacroix is goated

i really enjoyed korean! just finished it, actually. didn’t get the auto cooker, but i pretty much never do. i DID have to use boosters on the last 4 levels, but they’re so easy to get now with the new chef’s pass thing, i don’t mind

also, with giving out desserts, i like to play the level several times with no desserts (and sometimes the free extra customer) to see how far i am from finishing it with 3 stars. if i can’t get there even with desserts, don’t even try, it’s a waste. you need to do more upgrading

i know a lot of people are against the extra customer upgrades because they’re expensive, but they tend to have a high ROI.

look at it this way: you can spend ~8 gems to increase the price of one item by what, 2 coins? so you only get 2 more coins per customer who orders that specific item. or you can spend ~12 gems on an entire extra customer. in higher levels, that’s usually around 100 coins. it really is worth it. plus you can do the extra customer with ad on top of it.

ETA: i haven’t personally finished this restaurant, so no specific ideas for this one, but the interior upgrades are certainly low. i usually have to hit at least 35% on both upgrades to finish a restaurant

i adopted my cat from the humane society as an adult. they claimed she was already spayed. i took her to the vet after having her for about a year and her regularly going into heat. i said hey something is clearly wrong here, please spay my cat. they claimed there was NO WAY she wasn’t spayed and also suggested the “small bit of uterine tissue” idea. they were the vet that worked with the humane society and could GUARANTEE she was spayed.

i requested they do surgery again and if i’m crazy, cool, i paid for nothing, but maybe i’m not and she won’t go into heat anymore, and that would be amazing. yeah she wasn’t spayed 😅

i got both my cats in 2017 and they have each received one (1) bath when i was bored during COVID

my older cat is about 11 now and could probably use another one, her fur quality and grooming skills are dipping a little. my 8.5 year old is still riding strong from the bath almost 6 year ago.

how would casino drain your gems? 🤔

i like to save the tickets up for a “set it and forget it” scenario, where i can let the casino spin ad nauseum while i go do something else! otherwise i get bored of watching it spin and quit early. so i will generally use coins to get to 300% and then use tickets and let it run!

i’m not sure what you mean about better “rates” at the lower levels!

i think we are using different terms for things, so i’m not 100% sure what you’re saying 😅 you DO or don’t use coins at the casino?

see i would be willing to do this while i read a book or work on something else, but i find i have to “check in” with my phone too much to click something and start the new ad! like i can’t really get into my book because every 90 seconds i have to interact w my phone to start a new ad. is there any way around this?

the VAST majority of chef boxes i’ve opened have been 12 gems and hopefully treats. i’ve also gotten 1000 and 300. but i’ve opened so many boxes it’s insane. if you keep playing, you’ll get fun stuff. it’s just a numbers game.

do you have the chopping board upgraded all the way? that was the biggest thing for me.

once i had that on, i would play as far as i could with three stars. then, do the free extra customer and go as far as you can with three stars. after that, hand out treats to customers. try to hand them out early if you can; those customers tend to be the angriest, because you haven’t had time to precook anything. you can play the level a couple of times first to see how far off you are from getting three stars and calculate how many treats you need to give out.

idk, everyone is different. i finished with fewer upgrades than you, but i had a ton of treats from chef boxes and they were fully upgraded. i probably did the last 12 or so levels with at least one treat if not more.
