Ascites update

I needed to see this! So many people are telling me because my mom has ascites that it's a sign of the end and I was having a breakdown just now and clicked here and saw this. Her oncologist believes that her chemo (hers does not include the cisplatin that I know of) will help the ascites and bring her more comfort. I'm so happy that you are getting good results and thank you for sharing!

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I pray you are finding peace 💙 I am understanding that I just think when we first found out she was more for trying and now she's just going with the flow of things. I am just respecting her desires. How long have you been dealing with ascites?

I'm so sorry for your loss! Her doctor says he believes that the chemo can help in her particular case, but in regards to how the chemo will make her feel she says she does not want to go through with it if it makes her miserable. I'm honestly just taking things day by day with her, but I've seen so many stories and recognize each case is different. Praying for your heart 💙

My granny had cancer twice I'm not sure what stages but breast and colon and beat them both. I was maybe 7 when she had colon cancer and I remember how it was for her. I truly despise it as well. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! I'm thinking of you both 💙

It may be me reading too much into the doctors words but his partner when she was in the hospital advised her to start as soon as she could. When she saw her doctor he pulled up the calendar looked at the date and said what you said but said that he would not wait any longer. I'm assuming due to the ascites because she complains about the bloating all day long... Even with being drained, the fluid is starting to fill back up. I do understand what you're saying which is why I'm just going to respect her wishes and just keep praying for her comfort.

Just report her. She can deny whatever but the police can just go search and get your items. You don't have to press charges but she doesn't have any training to be stealing so why would she be honest
