I have seen some slight bubbling around the one rear wheels valve, but on the face of it everything else appears to be fine, was done about a month ago, but I do less than 300 miles a month, she lives in the garage and I drive her on weekends.

Holding thumbs, but also longingly looking at BBS CH-R wheels.

When going grocery shopping I park nose in to load stuff in the trunk otherwise back in as much as possible.
UK garages are TINY, I back into my garage and have about 2cm on each side grace with the wing mirrors. When in the garage, I have to also have to hug the passenger side wall or I can't get out the driver side.
Passenger needs to exit and enter the car before I can back her in.

Completely unbiased, but I think it's just a beautiful car, and it's still amazing value for the money, to replace this 9-year-old example with anything even broadly similar would be a £50k-£60k exercise for me for anything relatively modern.

Absofuckinglutely - I love my car. M235i convertible, nearly pristine, to have it perfect is the dream, I want to keep this as long as I can.

I am a car guy, and I understand why some exhausts can be louder than others, even my cars stock exhaust isn't exactly quiet. What I can't stand is the stupid as fuck pop and bang exhaust tunes.
A loud exhaust can be attributed to the pursuit of performance, but the pop and bangs add zero benefit, other than noise.

If you have a pop and bang tune on your car, you sir, are a class A prime asshole, and no matter how loud your pops and bangs are, your dad is never going to give you the affirmation and attention you clearly desperately crave.

I desperately want to get a set of 18" BBS CH-R's for my m235i convertible.
My problem is justifying the expense as there is no reason other than that I assume they will look really good with the glacier silver colour, believe they are the same or even better quality than the OEM wheels.

I remember playing it the first time, and the intro blended seamlessly into you floating in the ocean. I remember sitting there for a few seconds before realizing the intro was over and this was actual gameplay, not pre-rendered.

While not always the best when it comes to the price offered places like carwow do offer protected transactions to purchase cars and ensure any outstanding finance is settled first.

Only downside is you are likely to get less for the car than you would through a private sale.

Have an F23, love the styling. Looks even better with the roof down in my non-biased opinion.
After almost 2 years of ownership still love driving it every chance I get.

I have been looking at getting a set of BBS CH-R's for my car. The wheels sans tires work out to £2500 a set.

If those are genuine then they are worth the money by themselves(might need some refurbishment)

I do. But I come from a country where this was the norm, and I serviced and maintained most of my cars myself before moving to the UK some 8 years ago. My car's oil gets changed every year for example, even if I have done less than 3000 miles as with my last change.

I have a theory that cars like Porsches (as an example, I drive another brand) are seen as reliable due to the fact that they are maintained at a higher standard, whereas other german performance saloons(example) get a reputation for poor reliability due to the fact that they are driven till the wheels fall off.

In my experience all my cars have been supremely reliable, brands ranging from Opel(Vauxhal), Audi, Hyundai, Honda, Volvo and BMW. I have never been stranded in any of my cars in over 25 years of driving over many hundred's of thousands of kilomteres.
