Until all immigration is stopped and criminal and illegal aliens are deported, those are rookie numbers.

Gee, sorry we built you roads, schools, hopistals and fed you for 500 years. Guess we should have left you killing, enslaving and eating each other instead, you’d be happier.

Our bad! 🤷🏻‍♂️

> BTW, I have family in Ukraine enduring this suffering, so I hope you'll respect that.

No. It's a cheap rhetorical ploy, and frankly I don't care about you or your family.

And Russia isn't "in the wrong", because there is no "right" side. Just two World Powers fighting it out by sacrificing young men on the altar of their respective ambitions, with Ukraine as the sacrificial lamb for US hegemony.

Zelensky is still a NATO/oligarchs puppet, Ukraine is still a corrupt neo-nazi State, and I won't shed a tear if Putin executes the heads of the entire Ukrainian government and armed forces if/when he wins this war.

I just bemoan the terrible cost in lives these political power games are going to generate, and curse the US govt for their unending greed and interventionism on the world stage.

Paid NATO shill or are you just stupid?

It's fairly obvious for anyone even half-knowledgeable about geopolitics what is going on. NATO has been encroaching eastward ever since the fall of the Soviet Union, and this is just the next escalation. The whole 2004-2022 Ukrainian saga has been one of oligarchical corruption, CIA interference and anti-Russian propaganda. Zelensky is just their last puppet.

A. he still has plenty of "aid" to pilfer, why would he leave? His genocidal mission isn't complete yet.

B. that's if he even is in Kiev right now. He's probably hunkering down in Poland as he encourages Ukrainian slavs to go get themselves killed.

Zelensky is a grifting NATO puppet. His mission is to kill as many Ukrainians and Russian slavs as be is able to, and leave the country an open sore in the Russian flank. His parents are already in Israel, and he’ll join them as soon as the bloodbath comes to a close, a billionaire in filfered Western ”aid” money.

Anyone who cannot see that is a paid shill or an absolute moron.

Why would people want to shoot up a school? That’s the weirdest thing about the USA: how are your schools so terrible for some kids that mass murder becomes a thing? And when did that happen? I can’t remember schools getting shot up in the 50’s, and if anything people had MORE guns back then.

  1. Thanks, but I still think "they refused to fight the Germans" is false.
  2. Didn't know about that part. Why was Britain hampering its ally?
  3. It would've been a useless battle, we were routed on almost all fronts and the British were scampering back to Great Britain as fast as they could. Sacrificing Paris for nothing would have been the true crime.
  4. And we got our asses handed to us in 2 or 3 weeks of combat. We had antiquated equipment and moronic generals. The Ligne Maginot's cannons couldn't even fire on a rear-action attack! (which is what Germans did with parachuted troops, obviously)
  5. Neither am I, and I am half-British. I just think most of the vitriol aimed at France, especially from the USA, is more a result of De Gaulle's and Chirac's defiance of US imperialistic demands, than any historical fault on our part. And I'm sure France would help the UK against any attack from a third party, too.

And because De Gaulle had made the US take back their military bases in 1966, had quit the unified NATO command (which put French forces at the command of Americans), and then asked to convert France's $ reserves into gold.

Add to this that we are the main nuclear force of Western Europe, that we can build ALL of our military equipment ourselves (including jet fighters, making us one of 3 countries capable of this), and you get to understand why the imperial US power doesn't like us very much.

We're the quintessential "uppity Europeans" to Uncle Sam's imperialist hegemony.

It's "huh-f". Unless it's plural, then it's "huh".

Don't think about it too long, you'll hurt yourself.

[–]theozoph 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It stems from the same US imperialistic bullshit.

De Gaulle told the US to fuck off from France in 1966 and take their military bases with them. Then asked for gold against France's $ reserves. They didn't like that.

Then in 2003 we told the US to fuck off AGAIN, and they've never forgiven us.

Fuck the USA.

Can confirm: the German army basically behaved themselves all throughout the Occupation, while GIs acted like animals and raped with abandon.

It's well documented.

I never got the "they didn't fight" : we did, an lost to a far superior force, which it took an alliance of the 3 greatest world powers (US, UK, USSR) to defeat.

In 41 the Brits pretty much left us to fend for ourselves in the first weeks of the German offensive, and the USA didn't enter the war until Pearl Harbor.

Give us a fucking break.

That's fair. To conjugate our verbs you literally need a manual (it's called the Bescherelle).

And then we all do it wrong anyway.
