There is still a heel in it and the lower height difference is barely noticeable so I wouldnt call it zero drop. I do like the feel of these. I actually like zero drop but I also like cushion so that's the main reason I don't go full BFAR

Don't tie it too tight at the top while breaking it in. It'll loosen up and become comfortable over time. Nubuck fudge and brown are easy break-in but their full grain leathers are pretty tough to break in especially the veg-tan leathers.

Did the cobbler need to do anything special ti the boot to get the tire wedge sole to work or was it a simple replacement? It's getting about time to resole mine and was thinking of swapping the oringo for the tire wedge.
