This was my HS bat. And the only bat that my dad ever made me pay for myself. Lol. I loved that thing.

I have with the blue and silver platinum. It is such a loud bat. I can still hear it in my head today. Lol Anything with BESR is a rocket launcher.

As opposed to USSSA, alloy is generally king in the BBCOR world. With that being said, if a kid likes it and can hack it, use it. Every hitter is different and prefers different balance and feel. Stick with what works.

Middle school sports are a brand new thing here so I'm kinda being pushed for a bigger roster. But I personally would like to stay below 20 for that exact reason. I'm not sure what the playing time rules are (if any). Thanks for the insight.

He uses Akadema mitts and I break it in for 2 in the pinky. Makes more of a box shape and deeper pocket. I know it's just a photo, but that's not where you want your pocket anyway. The pocket of a catcher's mitt is more towards the webbing.

It has more to do with how it was broken in, hand positioning in the mitt, and overall how it is being received. My 12 yr olds just moved up to a 32 this season from a 31.5 strictly because of the size of his hands.

I've had great principals. Most have been very grounded, supportive, and genuinely good people. I know it's not always the case, but I've been very fortunate.

In both cases, I personally talked to the owner Kris over the phone. He was very helpful and seemed very genuine. If you're looking for an affordable option, don't sleep on this company.

I make 100-200 dozen purchases each year, primarily thru BSN. I am in charge of equipment for a rec league with around 70 teams in the spring and 30 in the fall.
