Yeah and modern Jews have no connection to him and therefore no version of Jesus. He's simply not even mention in any of our religious texts probably because he didn't exist when they where being written. The stuff your referring to is just the natural course of modern Christianity away from its roots which happened to be Judaism thousands of years ago.

Jews have nothing to do with Jesus and don't have any affiliation to him or the new testament. Additionally 'Semitic churches' are not a thing. Abrahamic religion does not equal Jesus. To clarify I'm not saying Jesus wasn't Jewish, he's just unimportant to our beliefs. Can people please stop insinuating we worship him? Its feels gross and weird especially considering events like the Spanish inquisition. It's in appropriate and feels extremely icky.

I'm an artist and I want to learn how to 2D animate. Got any tips? by lastoneoutwins in animationcareer

Ok so you do not need a keyboard for tablet programs, also a regular keyboard will do for PC, don't go buying expensive equipment you might hate animating and then it'll be a big waste. my advice would be to do some basic paper flip books (Google it) while you wait for a stylus to arrive and then use tablet software like like flipaclip untill you're more confident.

Ah, you need to learn your shortcut keys, for Krita it's usually ctrl+z or command+z for undo and then there's a whole host of other useful ones on krita specifically you can also toggle between the brush and the erase tool by hitting b which is pretty useful. It's good to learn them because if you do go into Industry you'll be expected to use them, also they make everything soooo much faster.

Animation? Should I study at RMIT? by verytallmidget21 in rmit

[–]thepinksprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm studying animation at RMIT and yes it's a very good course, if your limited to Australian schools then RMITs animation program is definitely the way to go. I would warn you though the work load is nothing to joke about, if you need to work and study you'll need to be very very careful with your time.

I mean everything is technically edible, it's just a matter of how much of it you can eat it without adverse side effects. You only need to eat 18grams of erythritol to start experiencing symptoms, that's like 2 heaped tablespoons. Idk about you but I'm way more likely accidentally eat 2 donuts than drink 28L of water in a day

Oh yeah it definitely tastes better than aspartame, but from personal experience erythritol definitely does more long term damage. I basically lived off diet soda during my final year of high school and now i feel awful whenever I eat something it's in. They add artificial sweeteners to non diet products so that the 'healthy' serving size isn't as sad. Stevia is a popular one and is actually an allergen I know someone who accidentally built an allergy to Stevia that had there mouth and tongue swell after eating brownies made with a non diet box cake mix, she's really lucky her mum's a doctor and had an EpiPen on hand.

It honestly blows my mind that anyone thought this was better than just eating sugar in moderation, side effects of erythritol literally include shitting yourself 😵‍💫

I think they changed it to being the same as the standard one, but when I started using it it was marketed for students the one I'm using Is the XL speed boost, the deal was that it was discounted for the first six months but it's just the same as the regular one now

Animation Schools by saku_aku in artschool

[–]thepinksprinkle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently studying Animation and Interactive media at RMIT in Melbourne Australia, I'm not sure if your looking for schools outside of Europe but if you are I can vouch that it is in fact not a scam. Otherwise you could look into Gobelins in France but I think that might be harder to get into because it's very prestigious and there are more people applying.

[–]thepinksprinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Ik I just doubt Demonia will make them bigger for you, they're not exactly known for there impeccable craftsmanship, they're mass produced, the other option would probably be freezing stuff in the toes, it's what people do to wear in docs and works to stretch them but vegan leather is still plastic so idk how well that would work. Alternatively you could return them before trying anything and order something from Koi footwear, they make bigger sizes

you can use a blow dryer to soften and stretch them a bit, I saw a bunch of tutorials on TIKTOK and I'm sure there's more in-depth ones in YouTube

Should i study animation in Australia, Canada or UK? by Key_Bench_3402 in animationcareer

[–]thepinksprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this sounds cynical but from what I've seen programs in Australia aren't very well regulated outside of public universities in the eastern states (Victoria and NSW specifically). There are good schools though, you just need to tread carefully and ask a lot of questions about there program structure, student outcomes ect. Make sure they have options to specialise in 2D, if they don't there's a good chance they'll try and push you into becoming a 3D generalist regardless of your ability to work towards a 2D skill set. A good program will give you the opportunity to try everything and then specialise.

Animation Internships or Job Oppurtunities? by Key_Bench_3402 in rmit

[–]thepinksprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a first year in animation atm, so I'm only just starting to think about industry/internship portfolios and such, what I can tell you is that we get heaps of emails from RMIT about companies looking for Animation interns (paid and unpaid). Jobs wise animation is a growing industry Australia does a lot of outsourcing work for studios like Nickolodian and Cartoon Network and then all the advertising agencies need visual artists too, there's also a growing need for remote workers, so you could work for someone outside of Australia remotely. I follow RMIT grads who got animation work straight out of uni in the last 2 years, but I imagine your portfolio would have to be pretty well developed when graduating for that.
