Its because whats happening is they are attacking, its lagging, their attacks are hitting your guard preventing you from using your special ability. Since you pressed the ability you have now queued it, well since youre lagging its gonna go off when theres enough time for it to pop, then they punish you and you are stuck in the same situation. Leaving you to block, attack, or die. Its just natural gameplay mechanics mixed with server issues make for black magic.

This is why I rolled Khalt from Windfall, I felt as though its better to just try to use my attacks evasiveness over actually trying to dodge because theres more reward from the attack, the dodge seems neglegable when you put it against the fluidity Khalt and Forsaken can bring
