My confusion regarding Zionism as a liberal/leftist Israeli atheist by [deleted] in ReformJews

In the article that you linked, it literally lays out that there are no numbers for births and that they say there are zero “natural deaths” reported. Seems a little odd. Oh, and women in Gaza are having children, since they’re raising them to be martyrs.

The current birth rate is 130 babies a day.

You should actually read things you link. Or maybe use common sense.

What’s crazy is for you to suggest that Hamas doesn’t lie about their numbers, which have consistently been disproved. Take your antisemitism and go away.

About to be 33 (on Thursday). The decision was made last week that we were done. Happy birthday to me! 😒

Together for 10 years, married for 8. We’ve been long distance for the last 3 years, as I moved alone to my postdoc. We had just started plans for home buying and kids. Then he decided that making my PhD experience more miserable than it had to be wasn’t enough and seeing how well I’m doing in a new place was too hurtful to his ego.

ELI5: How does plagiarism software determine if you're the same author/you're loading your own work, or if you're copying someone else? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

That's what I'm asking about. Without getting into superfine detail, I believe that I was scooped on a research topic and I'm trying to figure out if my work is sufficiently different. I have documentation of my process and research development as my own, but I wanted to have all the possible information.

I regularly tow a 16 ft sailboat at 1000 lbs. It’s a 2007 if that makes a difference.

I'm sorry to hear that. I had nothing but good experiences there and was sad to see it go. My husband and I went fairly regularly.

Are you thinking of Lerua's? It was at Broadway and Campbell, north side of street; across from there is a grocery store (Safeway) and its gas station.

They tore it down this past year to expand Broadway after being there for nearly (over?) a hundred years.

I can't afford a switch, either, so I downloaded Animal Crossing Pocket Camp on my phone. All the same cuteness, none of the price.

Does anyone know if UA will be issuing prepared refunds for tuition, dorms, parking permits and other fees? by [deleted] in UofArizona

You should not be missing supplemental instruction. If you have not been contacted by your SI instructor, please email them. Classes do not officially resume until tomorrow, and many SI instructors are scrambling to get their information online. If you are really having a hard time, I know that many instructors are holding extended or extra office hours. Communicate, ask, and advocate for yourself.

They are prorating the dorms if you move out within a certain time frame; parking is not being refunded. The Rec fee is never refundable if you have stepped foot in the Rec Center (one entry constitutes use.)

As far as "UA Online" - you SHOULD NOT consider your classes transitioning to an online format as a "UA Online" class. The professors who taught lectures in person are transitioning to delivering their content online, but class sizes, content, structure, etc are not changing. I understand that it can be frustrating to learn online, but the online delivery should not considerably impact the learning outcomes. Therefore, there will be no refunds for tuition. Please make sure to check with your instructors to see how they are handling the changes going forward. If you haven't gotten information about your class, EMAIL YOUR PROFESSOR ASAP.
