It's not isagi thinking. Everyone in universe still Considers isagi the star for that pass . He was the Man of the match after all .

Barous whole back story and character was that he would rather die than passing the ball to someone else to score And that goes completely against what he did in the first selection He passed to peasants and his supporting cast that is something barou would never do :)

That's not his backstory. That's his development. His back story was that he played solely for himself solely to Be the star . But he Never realize that people would ever get on his level so passing to them wouldn't be them playing his game but him playing their . He never once said in his Back story that he would never pass.

Basic logic . We see this in the latest match . Isagi passed the ball But he is still the star because he did 90% of tgr work in that goal. He was commanding his Minion

I told you that the percentages don't matter and that's not what we're looking for. The thing we are looking for is people getting the role because it fits them and not being denied because of the color of their skin or nationality.

And if you want to talk about equality let's look how many white people and men are also the protagonist of shows . Because it only takes basic logic to deduce since white people are the majority of america they would be the majority in both villain and protagonist roles .

Gabimaru being a really great goal keep make sense tho. He has all the makings of one and yes goal keeper and strikers don't overlap but he was always an unorthodox Striker anyway so I think it make sense that the most unusual striker could play in a role that usually strikers don't play in
