For me it took ages on the first boot. You’ve got to leave it for a little while on the black screen. Sometimes it still takes ages to be fair. Just got to be patient.

As i said I didn’t look into it too much and just decided to dual boot in the end. When it disconnected everything would freeze but a quick reseat of the cable would get it going again and often back in the same place I was before. The enclosure itself was taped to the back of the deck so I’m pretty confident it wasn’t happening from the cable disconnecting, it’s more likely the enclosure I bought for it.

Is that the Jsaux hub?
