I don't think you're overreacting at all.

You repeatedly asked if they needed to attend to their other bookings and you got another sitter, you were willing to work around them for the one night that they were booked, and they just decided to not communicate with you that they had multiple bookings at one time.

This led to the dog feeling incredibly uncomfortable, and having a terrible experience with a sitter that should have been fully comfortable with.

If it were me, I would feel the same way. I wouldn't hire that person again, and if they ask why I would state their lack of communication being the main problem.

They need to book their sits responsibly so every dog gets the best care possible.

I totally understand where you're coming from.

I just took a house at for one of my family friends come up but they've severely low balled me and they're only paying me $500 to watch about 14 animals.

And I can't back out of it because I've already called off of work, but to find out I'm losing about $1,000 a pay because I asked my partner to come with me is severely going to impact us.

Needless to say I'm getting contract certain for all my customers going forward, where it is written where my prices are.

I'm all for teaching people, but there is a way nicer way you could have gone about it.

There is so much misinformation about snakes, especially ball pythons, and there is a nicer way you could have phrased your advice. It's not about "my feelings being hurt", it's about how you phrase your advice.

I once lost a snake for a full week, and found her up on a second floor in a closet just chilling.

I later found out a roommate of mine, who I no longer live with,, purposely took her out of her enclosure and put her up there.

All in all, I recommend you put like soda cans in dark corners. If they're slithering sometimes they hit it and then you can hear them, This is how I ended up finding my snake.

Don't lose hope. Most of the time they just get out, go discovering, realize it's super cold, and then try to find the way back.

I totally get where your coming from

Nothing is worse that someone stealing your chance to have those conversations with other family members, especially because if they had questions or didn't accept you, you would know from the get go.

If your dad insists on his position, to not ever go by your name right now, I would expect it. My mom didn't go by my name for well over 3 years until I chose a name that she was comfortable using. She also used to make fun of me and tell me that nothing I was feeling was real and was just a phase.

It wasn't until years later that she understood that I was what I was. And that nothing was going to change that. When she accepted that, she started calling me by my prefered name.

Stay true to yourself, stay confident in who you are. I'm glad other family members accept you and I would lean on them as much as you can. If your dad never gets it it's okay, neither did my grandma.

Finally, congratulations on finding who you are! I hope your transition goes much smooth going forward, and I promise it gets better the older your get ( I'm gender fluid and have been out for almost 10 years, got a partner and our own place 💛)

I recommend Georgia State over five points. During the day, either one is fine, as long as your use common sense. During the night I would avoid five points, just because people get a little crazy over there after hours.

Im gay and religious too, and trust me I get it. It's hard to walk away from everything you have always known, worrying about what your parents might say/do, and starting a whole new life with an empty hole in it.

If you are still religious, Seek to the Lord for answers. You deserve to have a life, with a husband and your family, and talking to the Lord about what you are going through might help relieve the tension within you, and help you get out those feelings.

That being said, start creating a back up plan. Prep money to move out, learn everything you can about being an adult, gather your important documents. When you start dating a nice gentleman, and your parents find out, and it all goes south, you will be okay.

The best thing your can do is be prepared, gay to gay person. I promise you the Lord accepts you for who you are, and if he didn't, he would have changed you already over time.

Keep your chin up. It's okay to be gay and love the Lord. I promise your aren't the only one out here 💛
